Deloris BarnettTrailer dirty. Had to call the rep to remind I had an appointment so I could pick up the trailer. She hooked on the trailer to my truck, assured it was hooked on correctly. It had a strange attachment that screwed on the ball instead of a normal latch with lock and pin, and sure enough about an hour down the road the trailer came off my truck. I feel very fortunate that I was able to stop the truck without it being a major accident because the trailer was whipping around violently while slamming into the back of my truck. The equipment at this location is filthy and not maintained which turned into a major safety issue. I would not ever do business with U-Haul ever again.

Mark HamNot a real haul location. Business had previously burned down so office was a small tin shed. Had we not seen hail equipment there we would not have known it was even a business. Clerk was very nice and helpful.

Stephanie LopezThe salesperson was extremely rude. By the time I got it home, only 3 miles from where I picked it up, there were ants crawling everywhere. When I had picked it up, the cab smelled of chemical, I now realize she knew about the ants and had sprayed something to get rid of them. I called and left a message about said ants, my call was never returned. Horrible experience.

Moy CovarrubiasMy original scheduled appointment was with uhaul in Gonzales, Texas. The owner never showed up and forced me to drive 30 miles to Yoakum. Gonzales location put me in a real bind and will probably never use UHaul again. My experience with Penske was much better.

John SchamelMy initial reservation was for a different location, and got changed without even asking me. Totally threw all my packing and trip plans out the window, and I had to make several changes. I was charged on a card I had not put on file, but obviously from a purchase a day or two before, they kept the info. I was not even asked if I wanted to use a different payment. She canceled the transaction and put it on my different card. It took a couple days to return funds to my account, which by then had gone overdraft and I was charged $32 for. Worse experience ever!! Service at the return of trailer was a lot better.
