STEVEN KI reserved a trailer at the Ventura Thompson location and was told I had to pick up the trailer at an alternate location a couple miles away which was an automotive repair shop. When I arrived I was told I would have to go to Oxnard to pickup the trailer, when I pointed out one was sitting in their yard they figured out a way to make it available to me. This auto repair shop should not be a a Uhaul location.

SCOTT WThe after hours rental was super convenient! Was a tiny bit confused at first but got through it no problem. And some staff members were off an on the premise and offered assistance!
Julia VUsually have a good experience with U-Haul but this time we received the incorrect code to get the key It delayed us for almost an hour. Very frustrating and messed up the schedule for our moving day.

STEPHANIE PU-Haul has false advertising. A 20' truck is 17.5' not 20'. Very disappointing.

Lisa MSmall parking lot if there wasn't a spot on the street next door we would have had no place to park. They had to shuffle around a trailer just to fit our trailer in the lot. Staff was very nice though and helped remove the trailer and moved it by hand into spot.

Patrick YHave a receptionist to check in/out with. They get busy and you have to wait for assistance. A receptionist would eliminate the problem.
RICHARD PMy contract was originally with the Thompson location, but was directed to the Ventura Ave location when I arrived. The truck was just delivered there by someone who had wanted it for a bit more time, but was told it was promised to me. Although I was asked to wait while they cleaned it, it was still filthy. Upon getting home, I had to sweep it out and wash the windows so I could see where I was going. The truck did run wonderfully though.
Gregory LPricing was ridiculous because you picked up in Ventura, CA. I could see paying 1900 to 2100 but $2626 never again and I move along of merchandise.

Kyle MPerhaps add locking gas caps so rental could be received full of gas. It is difficult to return with proper amount of fuel if not received full. Either we pay extra high fuel cost for Uhaul to "add" or we put in too much gas. Either way, Uhaul "wins" the gas charge game. This isn't the first time I've noticed this and it seems intentional.

William Dthis has nothing to do with this location. I'm upset that u-haul changed me pickup location 2 days prior to my pick-up. It went from just down the street to 30 miles away. It added 2 hours to my situation as well as extra miles that I had to pay for, had to pay for an uber ride to the new pick-up location, etc. and nobody cares or is doing anything about it.
Benjamin DThe car dolly straps to secure the car to the trailer were worn out and had to use personal equipment to ensure the car was safely secured. The left turn signal and brake light did not work.
