My reservation was not available at the first location. I drove to the second and they did not honor the $50 guarantee. I've rented igual for decades and this is the first time I've had a bad experience.

Bethany WThe whole situation ruined me from using uhaul again. First, my rental was changed due to the truck I had reserved had to go in shop with repairs, understandable. I was told there was another truck, about an hour away that was available and on the lot so there won't be any issues. The lady I talked to, would no adjust the price, even tho it was bigger than what I had requested and it was not my fault the truck want available. I get a call the next day, stating that the truck I had reserved, which was supposed to be on the lot, was being refused to be returned by the person that rented it. No one could tell me why I was told the truck was sitting on the lot, but now suddenly wasn't available because someone was returning to refuse it. The whole experience was stressful, especially when I was already stressed about moving.

Justan GUhaul sent me here (extra 1 1/2 hours away) because they screwed up and had no trailer available. The site operator came in an hour after closing from his home to handle the transaction. He was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the screw was not tightened down and the trailer jumped my hitch a block from the rental place. I recognized something was wrong immediately and remedied the situation without further incident. Thank goodness I regularly tow and knew what to do. I also think that the Las Animas operator called Uhaul in the morning after realizing he had missed that safety check because somehow Uhaul Corp knew to call me at 9am and say they needed a photo of my trailer connection. This incident made me extra cautious and I checked my connection every time I stopped for gas to make sure nothing was loose and lights were running properly. As a solo female towing cross country, I was very careful.

Tina BThe truck had a "Check Fuel Cap" light on when I received it. I found that the truck had a cut fuel vent line. When I called for help, I was referred to Roadside assistance who had me go to a different U-haul dealer to trade out the truck. The new dealer did not have an operational truck so I had to drive to a different town to trade the truck. Overall, I drove 133 miles to finally get an operational truck. The truck should have been fully checked before it was released.

Daniel DThe person I got the uhaul from was excellent he was quick. However my uhaul experience was terrible. The girl I first made my reservations with didnt mention anything about filling it up with gas and I was told picking it up 20 minutes from me would be no problem. I get a call Friday saying I need to go get it now if I want it only it was 2 and a half hours away in Las animas. They weren't going to reimburse me fire the money for having to go out of my way to drive that far when it was their fault in the first place. They also told me when I went to get it that I was paying 378 come to find out it was 478. So the man lied to me when I specifically asked about a hidden fee utter was a terrible experience not great customer service who'd rather pay more for people who know the product they're selling. Wont be coming back
