Drop off was frustrating. I had trouble using the UHaul site to take a picture of the mileage with my phone... nothing came up but a black screen, even after messing with my phone and camera settings. If my husband hadn't had his phone I would not have been able to drop off the truck. This seems like a major flaw. The site should let users upload a photo.

The only reason I gave average and not above average is the cab of the truck we rented had a very strong smell of cigarettes smoke. I had to drive with the windows down because it was really strong smell. I would recommend no smoking in your rental trucks. The customer service was good.

Keep up the good work! The staff was so friendly and helped me get in and out quickly. I will definitely be doing business again with this location in the future as well as refer them to anyone I know who needs to rent a truck. First off, the representative that helped was rude, loud and obnoxious. He definitely was on some power stance. He insisted he call a member of my family, for what, i don't know. He loudly repeated my phone number and address to a full store. I'd prefer not to share that personal information with everyone with in ear shot. I also rented a smaller truck from a different location down the road for the same move, that transaction was pleasant and easy and the rep didn't need to call a family member (still not sure why the first rep insisted on contacting them, he also said if he was unable to speak to my family member i would not be able to rent that day), The whole experience at the Iliff location counter was very distasteful and unnecessary.

We ordered a 26 foot truck and they only had a 20. My well organized/planned one trip ended up taking two trips. The driver side and passenger side doors would not close completely and the back tail light was out. I would like my $50 truck guarantee back and might try to argue the extra mileage.

The truck we rented was previously used by a smoker who smoked in the vehicle. My wife is an asthmatic and was affected by the smell in the cab. Otherwise the truck was clean and well maintained.

Cab of the truck had NOT been cleaned..previous customer had spilled drinks all over the cupholder and inside engine cover leaving a sticky mess and had dog hair all over the seats and floor. Lazy rental agent, I think...Also, no boxes or blankets etc. available at location.

Remote check-in was a joke, did not work. Ended up having to wait in a line, got truck 30 minutes late. Truck was dirty. Had to jiggle key to get the engine started. Not a great experience.

Not the price I was quoted and the third location I went to in one morning. I was bounced around all of demver until they gave me a smaller truck than was reserved for more money. Honestly never using U-Haul again because of this experience and would like some type of refund. Employees were not helpful at all at location 2727 S Sante Fe. When someone makes a reservation, they expect the price and equipment to be the same when going to pick up.

The van that I rented had a bunch of leaves in the back and on the floor of the passenger-side seat when I first got the keys. One of the employees kindly swept out the back for me, when I asked, but it would have been nice if it had been clean from the start.

Uhaul in general was extremely difficult when making a reservation and keeping it. They had changed my location and time multiple times and made the day much more stressful than it needed to be. It should not be an option to reserve a truck if it is not available. Instead you change the customers reservation without getting confirmation. That is ridiculous. Luckily, the storage place I went to was so kind and patient and the auto works place I picked up the truck from also had nice people working there. However, uhaul did not win me over because of the complete inconsiderate and constant change in my reservation.

My complaint has nothing to do with the pick up or drop off location. I received a call 12 hours prior to moving that the truck that I had reserved far in advance was not available because there were none in the state. This is absurd. Even if there are none state, I should not be receiving a call the night before. As a large corporate company, uhaul should know how to handle its inventory better. Not only that, I wasn't offered any type of discount. I'll be reaching out to the corporate office of uhaul to file a formal complaint.

If you're going to have the audacity to charge 25 dollars to clean a small amount of dust in the back of the Uhaul, you clean the windshield of the 1000's of bugs splattered all over it, it was just about dangerous to drive in the condition it was given to me.

The location I had reserved mynU-Haul was in Lakewood Colorado. I had scheduled it there because it was closest to my home. when I was called and told that my location had changed to Aurora which was an additional 30 minutes out of my way both directions. I was extremely disappointed. The supervisor I was speaking with basically told me that since U-Haul had so many customers that weekend that I just didn't matter as one of them and if I wanted to pick up the U-Haul at the location that was available I could otherwise I wouldn't have a U-Haul available. this is a f*****-up system and it is a f*****-up way of dealing with customers I was not given any additional discounts I was not given any additional options. That's just flat-out wrong. I had a reservation, had a specific location, for a specific U-Haul. That reservation was not met so what was the point of me reserving it?

Guy charged me over 10% tax. He tried to tell me that uHaul goes off of a National Average. I call B.S. since the national average is 5.45% not 10.2%. uHaul is a bunch of thieves. They don't provide good customer service at any location so far. The rob you blind and tell you the costs are based on mileage, but you can go further than your destination and it costs less to drop off the vehicle. They don't have the answers you need when you ask, they provide wrong information, etc. If I didn't have to use uHaul, I wouldn't.

We were charged for a trailer that was approved to be towed by our vehicle. In Illinois our engine blew on the car. We were stuck by the side of the road with no help. Even roadside refused to help us.
