When a customer makes a reservation that customer should be informed before arriving at the pickup location that the last family has not returned the truck I reserved is not back yet. However, after our initial shock, U-Haul customer service did an outstanding job to ensure our moving day worked out. Top marks for the U-Haul team that made our experience as good as it was.
Kevin LucasStaff were brilliant and so helpful. Not the location but Uhaul overall - sent a txt with a link to confirm vehicle registration and damages but I was in a town with little/no cell reception so couldn’t complete it. Maybe have it done on site before getting the keys or in paper.

Christina HurdWhen dropping off we tried to mention that we had an extra dolly in the truck. As there was only 1 available (we reserved 2) at pickup location we had to scramble around for another one. I think it was put under a separate order. I asked if he wanted me to stick around and sort out any possible issues but he just took the keys and said no need. This didn’t leave me confident that it was ok.

Jenelle LightningI ordered a truck from Red Deer, AB but they phoned me the day before to say that they only had one in Wetaskiwin, AB. So I went there and collected it from there and left my vehicle. Once the job was done I phoned to find out whether I could return it to Wetaskiwin instead of Edmonton so that I could collect my car. So you charged me an extra $150. Why did they not tell me this before? I could have made a plan. I did not change the order

Richard JessupI would not recommend uhaul at all to anyone not because of the locations because of the service from uhaul itself and the moving help. It has been horrible from start to finish.

Linda RozakI did not get the vehicle from the location that I wanted and when I returned the vehicle I had an additional charge of 67 km added to my bill. If I had gotten the vehicle from the Leduc location I would have never incurred this charge. I was not pleased with that part of the service

Alexandre DesRochesOur tank was 1/4 so we had to put gas in and of course we put more in than we used. Plus the vehicle’s battery was dead and it took 20 minutes to boost. Then we had to leave vehicle running so it didn’t die. (More gas). It was -30 for a week. It should have been started prior to us picking up.
Jeffrey ChristensonI was in Daysland and they have a uhaul place yet no trucks had to get one in wetaskiwin drive to days land then back to wetaskiwin which cost me a lot in miles and money when it should if only been a one way trip
shelly crawfordI reserved 2 weeks in advance to pick up at 9am. I arrived, in -30 weather to do the remote pick up using my phone to get a message I would need to return at 10am when they opened. One hr behind in my moving day I returned at 10am and waited 15 min before the owners walked in 15min late to opening their own store. No apologies were given. Their was a line of ppl waiting for their trucks one of which said she also had tried to pick up her truck at 9 and was unable to. I was told they didnt have my truck because the ppl were 3 days past due. I asked for something else and while they were able to give me something for the same price, i was 2 hrs late into my moving day by the time I got home. This is my second time uhaul has messed with my moving day. I only chose uhaul this time because there were no other options in town. Dont trust the website when they say you can pick up outside of their hours because the owners DONT do the work on the back end to make this possible!

Christy DeschampsThe owner was very friendly. I told him about a tire being flat and he directed me to go and pump it up at a gas station. Had to find a tire shop. We had to pump it up every couple of hours. Didn't need to deal with that as well as the stress of moving snd driving on icy roads.
Peter DrewcockThis location was to be open till 4 pm as per the sign. I got there at 3:35 pm and all was closed and no one around, so I had to leave the truck at the front and drop the keys in the box.

SUSAN GRANTI usually get a refund when I return truck with more fuel that what it had, the person there told me he never gets refunds and on my receipt he marked the quarter tank even it had half of tank.

Bernard MethotTrailer was off the holder and frozen in the ice when we went to pick it up. Not an issue and quickly resolved but perhaps they should check their stock more closely to monitor for these issues. It could have been damaged.
Laurel BRIDGERWhen I pick the truck up, the engine light was on. They comment from the attendant at the location was that since I have insurance, if I break down they will come and pick me up and fix the car. That was not very reassuring as a breakdown is very disruptive in a move.
