Truck was wedged between 2 other trucks and was a very tight squeeze to get out, was parked in a small back lot that made it difficult to get out unless a spotter was present. Truck had an airbag light on, was not told about this and didn't think much of it. Was not till I arrived at my first stop to get items from another uhaul storage facility and was loaded, I brought up to an employee there was an airbag light, then I was informed the truck should not have been rented out with an airbag light present. Called uhaul road side assistance, waited an hour and a half for a technician to show up, waited an hour to be told the truck was not fixable then had to drive half an hour away to pick up a new truck. Was a huge waste of 3 hours and made us very late arriving to our destination 5 hours away. Due to being late we were not able to access the storage facility and had to find an alternate location. Very disappointed that this was not caught by staff at this location.

MURITALA OTruck was not safe that was rented it was shaking a lot. They dont probably inspect before giving to customers. I made reservation online but at this location girl had to cancel my reservation because she kept saying i am getting a llot of discount and book at store and then she put the drop off destination to Bradford instead of Brantford. And I called the customer service to change location to Brantford. When I went in Brantford to return the truck he said he cant take the truck because his spot is full and i talked with regional manager of U haul Brantford who told me return it to another location. And then I went to the other location and that location was closed. And I called back and he told me to leave the key under the truck seat. Unprofessional service this whole third party rental location is bad doesnt work properly they should only be allowed proper uhaul locations.
Vikas JI cleaned the box of the truck the best I could before I drop it back but when they did their inspection they told it wasn’t clean enough due to a very small amount of wood dust on the floor that were so small I couldn’t pick them up by hand. They trended me to change me cleaning fee when no broom was available or offered.

Adrian JMy experience started with a hiccup when the original truck I had booked wasn't available at my desired location. I was provided with a larger truck as a replacement, which led to higher fuel consumption and mileage charges, exceeding my budget. However, I must commend the staff for their excellent service at Asia food city, there are no complaints in that regard. On the other hand, my experience with the trailer was nothing short of a nightmare. When I attempted to reverse, the gear change produced a noticeable shockwave in the truck, resulting in damage to some of my furniture, a few boxes falling, and a broken mirror. It was a chaotic and frustrating situation, which unfortunately leaves me with a less than favorable review overall.

prabh sLong line up when I arrived and had to wait 50 minutes before getting my van. Inside window was very dirty. I told the gentleman that i may be late with returning the truck. He ended up charging me two days rental instead of one. I waited 30 minutes to return the truck as well. I returned the truck with more gas than what it had when I left the lot. Would like a rebate of one day charge of $19.95 please.

GBEMISOLA O1) When i pick uo the truck the gas was empty and i dont know if i will reach to gas statiin but luckily i reach and gill it up, 2) The truck was also not clean and dusty and when i return it , the next day the person there was told ime that it will charge me to return it not clean , u haul charge already the previous renter charge already for cleaning fee, when i took it its not clean , now it chrage me gor a cleaning fee for returning it not clean, pls look on this matter then maybe they will not clean it then again the next tenter will be charge for another cleaning fee it i took it clean i will return it clean..i will not recommend this place to all my friends , co worker and relatives. 3) The engine light is on and why they still renter out the truck, asia foods should look on it if the engine break down while somebody rent it what will happen .

SIMRANJEET SWe showed up on time for the truck, it took forever to get the keys. Waited in the heat. There was only one employee working which was difficult as there were customers waiting to check out with items as he went back and forth helping us both. The truck was parked behind the building in the corner of mud, tall weeds and shrubs. It was not backed out and we couldn’t even get in the passenger side door. Had to back the truck up to get inside, and was difficult to navigate the lot as there were randomly parked uhaul’s surrounding. The truck was dented, broken cables on the rear pull door which caused a lot of strenuous effort to open and close the door. Was not an overall pleasant experience.
jessica mBy booking was from 07:00 PM, 30 June 23 to 07:00 PM, 01 July 23. Got a call from the collection location that the truck is not available at 7;00 so kindly come by 7:30; I recommend to move it to 8:00 instead and they agreed. Upon arrival at the store the owner was pushing it as if the delay was our problem and he wanted the truck back by 7:00 PM the following day with no consideration on the delay being from his side. The store from where he’s operating is not hygienic; and the tuck is parked at the backyard which is mucky and dirty.
Victor JWe used the vehicle for 2hours and it charged us $135 and we filled fuel more than used. I don't know where is the mistake but it charged us more than expected. I think there is something extra or wrong added into the bill that made it higher than expected. I can’t recommend anyone about this before i get solution of my problem. I also want to use it again because i need rental truck for some work but due to this i can’t deal with uhaul. I hope you understand my concern and come with any solution . Thank you
Jagroop SI made request online for items that were not available at the time of pickup. Very disappointed and inconvenienced. This further delayed the moving process and even resulted in an additional charge to make matters worse.
