The folks at ASAP in wheeling WV were great. The pick up location in Montrose CO was a disaster they were unorganized and it was difficult to coordinate with them. There were too many moving pads.Robert K.

The Quality of the truck was the biggest complaint with going through distance we had to go the ride was terrible. The truck shook and had horrible vibration and the seat bounced terribly. It was an awful ride. That truck needs some serious work done to it. When we picked up the truck we were sent a block over to get it they were in a lot with a tight alley. We ordered originally a 26 footer for 2 days. We then were told we could only receive a 20 footer for 2 days. LAST MINUTE we were told we could only get a 17 footer. We orders 2 dozen blankets and only TWO SINGULAR blankets were there. We also renter a dolly and it was not there. If we arent refunded the full amont our attorneys will be in touch.Jeremy F.

The location was not my first choice but it was easy in/easy out. This is not against the location or the employee (who was very nice). I originally ordered a 15ft truck. I wanted to do one haul. Neither location ended up having a 15ft available so I had to downsize to a 10ft. That ended up forcing me to take 2 trips which ended up costing me double!Jill S.

I wasn't able to get my truck when I wanted because it was returned late, that was fine. However, there was no sense of my time being spent and instead of putting/leaving the dolly in the truck he brought into the store and I had place it in the truck.Joseph A.

Equipment was used for 2 hours, returned at approximately 1930. Today I received a call asking if I needed the equipment longer. Once they worked it out, and called back I found out that the location failed to check the equipment back in on their next business day. In my opinion, this is a serious infraction on the part of the rental location, and could have lead to a more serious situation. Luckily the U-Haul call center corrected their error.Dave B.

1) Have the keys to the vans available in the office so the customer doesn't have to walk around the nearby town looking for the person with the keys. 2) Remind customers if the van they are renting has no loading ramp. Most customers will find a loading ramp more convenient, if not mandatory for moving heavy items. Not having a ramp made having a dolly useless.joshua B.

I had way too many furniture pads, I ended up packing 8 or 9 unopened bags along with my items just to make sure I could return them. Additionally, if the pods were bigger they'd have been sufficient, but I still needed a truck and trailer to finish over what their recommendation of 5 pods didn't cover.JAKE S.

The pickup location was ok. U-Haul as a company is awful. Made me drive 58 miles to pick up the truck. There was no moving pads there. Went to another U-Haul dealer to get the pads near where I was going to pickup furniture, they had no pads and I had to go another place to get them. U-Haul hung up on me 3 times when I called to get more miles since the place I picked up the truck was 38 miles from where I was originally supposed to get the truck. If there was another place to rent a truck at there price I would definitely rent it from them.JAMES A.
The online check in to pick up the uhual was an absolute mess. It took me an hour just to check in & finally get my truck. The online process needs fixed because it didn't work for me. I had to call to be able to get the uhual. The photos they ask for, wouldn't upload and it kept saying memory low when I have more then enough memory on my phone. I also couldn't pick the uhual up until I paid an extra $102 just to be able to pick it up. It would have been nice to be notified of the extra $ due when I reserved the truck, not at the time youre picking the truck up. What if I didnt have the extra $102? I wouldn't of been able to get a truck at all. This whole process was honestly a mess & very frustrating! Then I get charged over $20 for gas. Joke. I was scheduled to pick my truck up in Wintersville, OH when the rental was approved. I get a call the day before saying they don't have the truck that I WAS APPROVED FOR in that location that I needed to pick it up 30 miles away. So because I had to move out of my apartment by that weekend I had to do it. I was charged for the miles that shouldn't have counted because it was 60 miles out of my way to get it and drop it back off. I was told my rental fee would be taken off for the â€œinconvenienceâ€ and it never was. Horrible service due to calling the day before and making the customer pay the extra miles that wasn't needed or planned for to begin with. To top it off the cab of the truck was disgusting. With covid still being a huge thing in the world the inside of the truck looked like it hasn't been cleaned in 6 years. It was overall a HORRIBLE experienceTrisha T.

There were no clear directions anywhere on where to drop off the uhaul. Had to park on the street and run inside to find a anyone. Also being new to the area I didn't know my way around. The guy working there said he couldn't take the truck and park it so I had to drive around the city to find where they parked it. Very bad location and not helpful staffToby B.

First the ubox was 3 days late. The truck the was going to deliver it broke down, next day waiting on parts, the next day flat tire. Then when it should have been picked up from my residence it was not. Then I received an email stating that they will not take my payment from my account until the 20th. They took it out on the 14th...which overdrafted my account. Said they were going to reimburse me for the overdraft fee......they did not. Unfriendly. customer service is the worst. Online check in was a nightmare and wouldn't work. Had to go to main office which is 1/2 mile from truck to check in. Ended up taking an hour to get the truck. Paid for a furniture dolly but received a regular one. Because of the set back i couldn't make it back by 2pm drop off time and was charged an additional $20. The online drop off was also a nightmare and wouldn't work. Tried calling customer service but the wait time was over an hour. Requested a call back but never got one. Called again the following morning and got right through. That representative was very polite and made sure the drop off was complete. Overall got charged $150 for my truck that is advertised at $30 per day. Will not use this company again.BENJAMIN C.
