To have a firm pickup location upon rental agreement. Uhaul was unsure of pickup location up until the day I arrived even though the dealership verified the trailer needed was available and on location. I never received a verification call from Uhaul.
John PI had two extra days on my contract but got charged for an extra day.
Grant VThe store could not log into your website. It took well over 30 min's to do the paperwork as a result. Why do you need 2 different contacts for the rental? That seems like overkill to me.

Victoria HIt was not the original location I was to be going to drop off the truck. It was a good hour away from where I am living and with having to have still unpack the truck yet that day and make a drive it made things very inconvenient to do. I had to arrange help with the truck instead, which took someone away from work. It was not the most ideal situation for me that day especially being new to the location. I had even seen equipment being dropped off at my original location this weekend.

norman bForced to go pick up the truck at this location after a closer location reported they did not have the truck size we needed and that we would no haul an extra trailer with us.
Brent Athe front of the trailer was covered with mud. I had to take it to a car wash to clean off the mud so that I could adjust the position of the tie down rachet mechanism. There was no way to lock the trailer to the tow vehicle!
Stephen LThe truck was not at all clean, when we pointed that out we were told not to worry about it. There was coffee spilled, trash and a funny smell.

Jedidia BIt could use some new tires and the power steering could use some work.
Treasa SOnly complaint about the truck was the wipers. We drove in rain for one morning and the wipers skipped over the windshield and did not clear the water very well. We were very cautious and drove safely however, this could be a safety hazard due to reduced visibility. This truck's wipers should be replaced.

John RNo improvement needed! Great company! When I picked it up, the employee asked me if I would drop it off at a different location than I had chosen for a reduced fee; almost half of would I would have paid. It happened to be on my way to work. Score!

Deanna EThis pickup location was great. However I had wanted to pickup the truck in Fairfield, not in Washington. The caused an extra hour of driving for me. I ordered the truck 2 weeks ago. I should be able to pickup the truck at the location I wanted, not 30 miles away!!
Arvin BI was not suppose to pick up my truck at this location. This was a last minute change and no one at Uhaul told me about the change until I arrived at the original pick up location. This was a clean place, but I was not happy to have added 2 hours to my drive to pick up here.

John MArcher's in Washington went above and beyond to personally ensure a truck would be available as I had reserved--can't say the same for U-HAUL Central, which called me 3 days before my move to say no truck would be at the Washington site. But I could travel 30+ miles to get one! Not OK, headquarters! Challenges with truck availability need to be worked out among franchisees to meet client reservations. All your clients don't have option/resources to travel miles to procure a truck.

WILLIAM JI've been scammed and had the worst experience with renting anything from this location. I paid for 24 hours, 2 hand trucks and received a completely filthy, decade plus old, truck missing the two hand trucks I ordered. It wasnt ready at noon to which I spent 4+ hours dealing with lying employees who demanded I return it by 7am as its been rented for 8am. When I disputed the charges via the online system I was told I would be contacted but no one ever did and I was still charged. I won't be returning to UHaul or Archer Appliances for any reason ever again. I've only used UHaul since 2005 and after 16 years never again, this was a complete disaster from start to finish.
Scott CService was great and they were very helpful. I turned the truck in after hours and could not get the location service to upload on my phone so I parked the truck, took the required pictures and texted them, locked the truck and put the keys in the drop off box. They called me in the morning to confirm that everything had worked out well and the truck was checked in properly.
