I had pick up by cellphone. They put the wrong truck keys in the box. Had to turn around and take the truck back and pick up The correct truck. The truck had dog hair on the floorboard and between seats.William J.
Everything was fine and the people that work there are very helpful. The only complaint I have is charging $0.99 a mile after the price of renting the truck plus refilling the gas. I spent $157.00 total just to drive 45 minutes and back. I literally used under 80 miles.Bryan M.

I was told they would be out to lunch from noon till 3pm. When I arrived at 3:30pm the office was locked. I called that locations number, no answer. We were getting ready to drive away, when a woman finally came in from the back area. When we arrived to return the Dolly we had to wait 1/2 an hour to retrun it. The manager was renting out a storage unit. He asked how the equipment worked, I told him it was dirty and full of cobwebs, that the chipped paint on the handles cut my hands. He just said "sounds good". Like he really did not care! Frustrated.Debbie M.

We had no ramp in our van, and only discovered this after the store closed. If I'd been told, we would have gotten a different truck. However, the truck ran smoothly, it was clean, and things went well. Overall, A rating.Becka L.

Wanted a final bill for proof of return. Was told we would receive an email but that hasn't happened yet and we dropped it off yesterday. Owner never left his chair to check the truck which was dirty and had exterior damage when we picked it up. We did take pics for proof of damage. This is only drop off place in Bandera. Provide more assistance to the office manager. She had too many duties to attend to and needs an assistant. She did an excellent job, but there is too much work (renting vehicles, showing storage units, cleaning storage units, attending the front desk) for one person to do. Waiting period for her to assist me was too long (over a half-hour), but NOT HER FAULT. SHE NEEDS AT LEAST ONE ASSISTANT!RICHARD M.

It is super annoying to pick up a rental that doesn't have a full tank of gas. It's a ploy by rental agencies to scam extra costs such as gas by renters knowing it is challenging to fill up exactly the amount that was originally there. So while U-Haul and any rental agency is quick to charge a ridiculous fee if the fuel return is less than what it was, they are in no way accomidating if the return was made with more fuel. How do you charge renters a ridiculous fee for returning it with less and you guys don't end up filling it up for the next renter?!?! Simple... it's a scam.Theresa M.

The truck was extremely dirty and the floor was covered with grease. The ramp was so greasy we couldn't use it without putting a rug on it. A lot of my furniture and other items picked up the grease and can hopefully be cleaned. The inside wheel well was damaged and some of my boxes got wet from traveling through the rain.NORMAN D.

Some vehicles need to be taken out of use. Especial when you're charging the rates you do. Uhaul rips people off on rates and then gives them a piece of junk that's been wrecked and reaks. If we weren't in a bind we would've rented from any company other than Uhaul. The people at the actual storage unit were extremely kind and helpful. They can only use what they're given from Uhaul.Freddy S.

Staff was far above excellent in providing outstanding service on this basic rental, treating me with the best service I have ever received from UHaul in the dealings I have had with them my entire life. I am disabled and the staff assisted me with every aspect of the rental, from paperwork to inspection of towing vehicle to hooking up trailer. This was done quickly to get me on the road. Would rate 6 stars on a 1-5 star scale.Michael P.

Do Not Allow your employees to hook up the trailers unless they are properly trained. a Few months ago my boyfriend hauled for me and the trailer came unhitched!!! He hurt his back trying to quickly reattach it to the truck. The hitch had not been locked into place by the employee who insisted on hitching it up to the truck. My boyfriend's back took several weeks to heal from a sprain in his spine. Be careful!!!Katie D.
If you say that you have some equipment at a certain location, you should make sure it is there. Plus, the equipment should be on time and in good working order. The equipment I ordered was not at the location requested and associate helping me had "no record" of my order. After being told by a manager that it was a "glitch" and they had me down for the following day, I was told that I had to wait for the delivery of my trailer. After it arrived, 5-hours later, I had to ask for another day extension for their delay.Reshard W.
