We had a reservation, but chose to use the counter to ensure we had the correct other items (appliance truck, blankets) We arrived early explaining we had the reservation. Tammy Anderson started the process over as if we did not have a reservation and the price for the truck was $123 (rounded) versus $106 (rounded) as per the reservation. When I asked Mrs. Anderson to explain the higher price, she flipped out saying. "Oh my Goodness! I just sell boots and I am retiring in January so you will have to to talk to the District Manager. These Jokers don't know it but I am retiring and am not dealing with this." She dials someone and tells them that I am "barking" at her about the price and other misleading statements that did not represent what I said or was asking. I asked if I could talk to the gentleman and was allowed. He said there was no way I had a reservation for $106 and that the price was what it was. Getting nowhere I resigned to just paying. After the call Mrs. Anderson said the District Manager said I never had a reservation and was using a screenshot to try to get a cheap rate. Mrs. Anderson also changed my drop-off location to a place 20 miles out of my way telling me the one I wanted does not exist. Thankfully I was later able to resolve the drop-off issue later to my convenient option that does indeed exist. I was told then that my reservation was in the system and everything I said was supported in the history. I should have gotten the $106 and they suggested filing an objection. Being accused of trying to conduct fraud is simply not acceptable. Both Mrs Anderson and the District Manager owe me an apology for their unfounded accusations and unprofessional behavior.

I’m not sure if it was the location or if it was the app. I reserved the truck which was supposed to be smaller ... when I got there they could find me but not my reservation ... I thought it might be something that I did wrong... so I played it off and just took what was available... then the place themselves had issues with the app and with the website themselves. First they were not sure why the computer wasn’t cooperating then the computer / site kept crashing on them ( so at least I knew it wasn’t just me ) They attempted several times to access the site and relented and called a 3rd person to support them... the. Just as all my information was in the system... the computer froze again... so they called I guess the main uhaul number and registered my request with the phone... and I was finally ready to get ready and go.. or was I? They then had issues getting the key out of the lock box that was outside ... so they had to cal a 4th person... by the time we finally figured out how to get the key out this endeavor took over 45 minutes while I had people waiting on me with this truck.... I then finally got out to move my stuff and actually got done a day earlier ... I was disappointed to see even though I brought the truck back a day early that I not only ended up paying for the additional day... but I also had to pay for the bigger truck that I did not prefer.... This was my first and last experience with this location. I still have a need to rent a truck one more time within the next couple of weeks... so I’m not totally going to torch Uhaul... just the folks at this location were honestly not trained to handle the business of renting a truck. I went away from the other location that I rented from on Steele station road because I was annoyed by the owner because I would ask to rent a truck for the weekend ... and he said that he couldn’t release a truck for that much time ... what he should have said was that he didn’t want to rent me a smaller truck for $19 a day instead... y’all really shouldn’t advertise that kind of offer if you aren’t making the offer available regularly. I checked 4 locations in my area and they were not easy to find. The Steele station road location did report that he had a car go van he could rent me... but that would not be big enough to load a dining room table that I had with 2 leafs and 6 chairs... even though he insisted... I guess next time when I need a rental... I will try the bigger location in Gadsden ... even thou that is on the opposite side of town... I’m done with the locations along hwy 77 in Attalla... The best experience that I had was the bus station location in Gadsden.. but the site did not let me select from that location:.. but I think we covered already your internet site was compromised Friday and Saturday .... that was obvious when I brought the truck back a day early and when I went to check out at Anderson boots location and the lady ( different one from the

Parking location was a little difficult to get out of when picking up the truck. Other than that everything was great!

We spent more than an hour trying to get the keys because we were not given the correct information to retrieve them. We tried calling the local representative several times and never received an answer or a returned call. We were finally able to retrieve them after the online customer support spent much time trying to find the code to the correct lock. Awful experience. Made us late for pick-up and delivery. Delayed our moving crew and cost us for the delay. We learned or lesson with UHaul. We will be trying the competition if we ever require truck use again.

only issue we had was reservations. Web said a rep would contact me three days prier to pick up but noone ever contacted me.. I called at 12pm the day of pick up to find the pick up locations.
