The online process to rent and return the UHaul was difficult and time-consuming. I would not recommend it to others.

We weren't sure exactly what to do or where to leave the Uhaul,but figured it out.
CARLA RWell first of all have the keys in the right place and if not open the store at the correct time I lost my customer and my job cause of this
Kristi BThe U-Haul owned property down the street would be my choice. This wasn't bad if that wasn't two blocks away.
PHILIP NI did a remote pickup and drop off and it took 30minutes to pick up the keys for the truck. That's a big chunk when I only had the truck for 6 hrs. Also the climate control did not work to blow air out of the vents.

Daniel SThe self checkout was the worst! I could not get the box where the key was located unlocked. I was scheduled to pick up U-Haul at 7. The lock on box was rusted lock was stuck. Had to wait until 9 for the location to open. The worker could not open it for about 20 minutes Finally she got it open. It's 2024 the location should have digital box or an option for me to scan phone would make it for a seamless process

Lolita WHad a 26' truck reserved which was not available when we arrived. We were not notified beforehand. We had 4 movers waiting on us so we ended up taking a 20'. UHAUL did give us a $25 credit, made it so we only had to return the truck, which was full, with a quarter tank of gas, and gave us an extra day and mileage. All very nice, but the truck wasn't sufficient and we ended up renting an additional 15' truck to get everything we had to fit. So we ended up paying more between the additional rental and gas for it due to UHAUL's mistake. Also, the two dozen blankets I paid for were not ready to go when I arrived. The clerk had them piled up on the floor in a storage unit. We ended up folding them and bagging them together. Took away from my time spent moving.
William BWhen arrived at 9:39 office was closed. Called number, no answer. Looked down storage unit areas. Lady come out and mention her office staff hasn't shown up. Paperwork went quick. Gave me the keys and said let me know if it is clean, if not that she would come out to clean. There were some boxes in back that she come out to get.
Mike WI had to drive across town to pick up a truck and trailer. I picked up the truck at one location and then had to drive to a different location to get the trailer. Took me over 2 hours to get the equipment and get home.

Teresa CDon't offer items such as furniture pads online when the location does not have them. Then suggest another site to pick them up. And be told at the other location that you can't drop them off on the one way rental. Only to find out when you do return them to the other location, they charge extra for keeping them instead of dropping them off on the one way rental. Very unsatisfied with this location for taking the online rental with pads and even more unhappy with the 721 memorial rd location for giving me misinformation that cost me time, energy and money. At the 721 memorial rd location, I was told it was a new girl that just didn't "know". Why should I pay for her mistake?

MONTREAL DOnly problem we had was that the site is inside a storage facility with not much room to maneuver a truck and trailer.

SAMANTHA PWhen we arrived there was a gate , we had no code to enter . So we called the number on my paperwork , it went to voice mail . It was 9 am so staff should have been present . Someone who had a storage unit opened the gate . Then we parked , unhooked the trailer . I went to the office and a young lady was present and did help at that point . Not a pleasant experience

John PJason was so understanding of me keeping the truck so long. It is only me and my special needs sister, so most of the time it was in my driveway as I loaded (and loaded and loaded....)! I would definitely recommend this location and Jason to anybody needing a Uhaul or storage unit. This is one owner who really does care about his customers and puts them first!!

John LThe guy wasn't even there when I showed up at my reserved time. I beat on the door for 5 mins then called before deciding to show up. and he didn't do a pre inspection with me. I got no paper work and after returning the truck he tried to charge me $114, $110, then $89 after he had already charged me $39. I only used the truck to pick up a bed n 2 night stands in the city. I'll never rent from this place again

Christine LManager was Great! However, the Van was less than 1/2 tank of fuel-NBD really, windshield was covered in dead bugs, and warnings for both Oil Change and Tire Pressure ON. RESIDENT MANAGER would be only reason to Go back to this location.

Alfonso PI had a horrible experience with the on line pick up process. Used it before in Grapevine and it went OK, but at this location took me almost 45 minutes to get the truck. At one point, was asked for an additional contact, or a passport...very confusing. Eventually worked through it, but a very poor experience. Probably not the location's fault, but that's where I experienced it.

Vivien HPicking up with the phone was a real pain and dropping off in the dark was too. We had kids with us and I felt like it took too long. Also charged me for safe move of which I declined at least three times.
Rachelle SI rented 25ft and 15ft trucks. The day of moving, we realized we needed bigger trucks so I called to exchange the 15ft for a 20ft (that was after filling it up with gas!) They did not tell me that I had to return the 15ft truck to the same rental even though it was all in the same city, also the 20ft was only available in a different part of town so we had to go there to get it. I assumed I could just drop off the 15ft for a 20ft since we had NOT left the city yet. They said because of that I could not get my FULL refund and it was considered a "trip" . TERRIBLE communication and bad form as far as I'm concerned. Will not recommend U-Haul after that.
