Thomas CI was overcharged for furniture pads not in the truck. Took the picture and followed the U-Haul app instructions and still got charged. The location is unmanned and the app doesn't work well and transfers the administrative burden to me. Truck had food stains from a spilled drink on the seats so no one bothered to do the most minor cleaning.
Kenneth SThe gentleman that was there was very helpful. I originally was going to do an online pickup at a different location, but the mobile app is complete garbage. I ended up going to the AMC shed location & he was able to transfer my order & provide me with a truck immediately. If I ever need one in the future, I will definitely use that location & I'll never use the mobile app again.

Ferdinand NTerms of the contract were not fully explained. Web page and initial rental agreement stated the rental "INCLUDED 2 DAYS and UNLIMITED MILES". On return of the trailer the following day I was charged for an additional day.

Christopher LWhen I rented the truck it had a quarter of tank of gas on it. Despite only going under 40 miles, I put gas in the truck before I brought it back. I was charged $40.09, $40.00 service charge and $10.00 for the gas. The next time I went to rent I was charged a service fee and again I was told I should have taken a ox of the odometer. If that was the case as a customer , I should have been told that, but I wasn't. Essentially as a customer I should have been told that and essentially I feel like I was being called a liar about putting gas in the vehicle. If I had another alternative to renting from your company, I wouldn't have rented from you again. This is not the way to treat a customer.
patricia sThe only recommendation I have is the cargo trailers should have tongue jacks on them in the event that trailer may have to be removed from the back of the vehicle. It would be impossible for it to be removed with the cargo trailer filled with items.
John SMy preferred location -- Rt. 24 Self-Storage in Millsboro -- refused my drop-off saying they were full. They had several trailers and several trucks, but clearly had room for the drop-off. They deserve a rating of 0 on any scale. The alternate location was uninviting and had no staff on either June 6th when I dropped the trailer or June 7th when I returned to the location. The self-return app did not work at this location and my return was only acknowledged the day after the trailer was dropped off. I would not recommend this location.
William CThis location was great , they helped me when 24/7 uhaul rental screwed up my reservation at another location. I had hired people to help with our move and had no truck . This location came thru and saved the day.

Lawrance KAccording to my reservation I supposed to be charged for 24 hour $18.95. Instead i was charged twice as much. In addition according my reservation i chose no insurance coverage. I was charge $16 without asking. I was not given rental agreement at time of the rent and was email it just next day.
Mikhail RThe 20 ft truck I was supposed to get, broke down the day before, I got a email at 732am stating that my truck my not be available, when I arrived at the Pickup location, Jeremy said he didn't have a truck for me!!! He call U Haul and they told him to give me a 26 foot truck in place, so it ended good!!!
david bThe location is just an empty dirt parking lot. There is not a building for uhaul. Just park ot and leave the keys in an old rusted box. Seemed very skeptical

KENNETH PSo this is not a complaint about this site in particular but U-Haul operations in general . You are in the moving business . Most people move on weekends. You need to staff up for the weekends. I don't want to depend on a phone app. I want to deal with a human.

Edward MTruck was dirty inside the cab and smelled bad. The cargo bed was covered with sand and dirt. Requested a broom to sweep it out. They had nothing to clean it out. The mileage was under stated by 2 miles. When I was told the charge would be $155 I explained that it should only $122 because I had revised the reservation the previous day to remove the $30 charge for insurance. I was told it is too late that he already submitted the charge and could not remove it. When I told the returning location they had no problem removing the charge!!!!

Daniel MHad major problems with the U-Haul reservation site. I was kicked out 4 times and the 5th thought I had finished. When we went to pick up our trailer it had been rented. The gentleman at the store also went on the site and was kicked off multiple times, he finally called his headquarters and they got is straight. They upgraded us to a larger unit without charging the difference. Thanks for that. You need to make the reservation site more convenient.
Todd HYou have a drop off location that is not open on Saturday or Sunday. This location has poor cell service. Was not able to use the app to return my equipment. Called the location at 10am when they opened, and the person told me he was not at the location and would call me back. I called back at 1:22p, there was no answer. I left a voicemail for a return call to make sure everything was ok and to get a receipt for the equipment that I returned. As of today 10/31/2023, I have not gotten a call back from this location. I have to move again in 2 months and will not be using U-Haul. Company has to many changes after you schedule your reservation. My pickup location was 25 miles past the requested location. This put another hour to my round trip. Very disappointed.

Todd CWas hard to find personnel. Was charged a $62 fuel surcharge / service which I plan to refute. The tank had more fuel than what I started with.
ray pDuring my lifetime I have had to use many rental trucks. This was one of the best experiences I have had with a UHaul truck. They were extremely accommodating and the vehicle was in great condition. I'll definitely make this location my go-to UHaul dealer.

TERRA TImpossible to find, gps sent me to a field on other side of highway. Place was very dark, driveway not lit. No designated area to leave truck. Could not locate place to park.
