The sign said open, but there was a thick gate pulled over the door. Parking for returns was not easily accessible resulting in me having to park in a No parking zone. The location is on an extremely busy road making it hard to adjust parkingHolly H.

The facility was closed when I got there although the sign on the door says open at 8 a.m. when I showed up at 9 a.m. there was just a drop box and nobody answered the phone to receive the truckLuis L.

This experience was honestly the worst it could possibly be! After I initially made the reservation online, I received a call confirming my selection, but it had the wrong pickup location. I let the representative know and they confirmed that it was updated. A couple days later, I received another call confirming the reservation, but the location had still not been changed. During this phone conversation I was disconnected and had to call back three different times, but I did eventually get the pickup location changed. After this point, I called the new pickup location to confirm with them and received very confusing and unsure responses to my questions. I decided to stop by the location in person to make sure everything was set for my reservation. I reiterated the time, date, and equipment that I had reserved and checked multiple times that it was accurately listed. I was assured that everything was set for the upcoming equipment rental. Several days after this, I received a phone call from another representative saying that they had cancelled my reservation because I did not pick it up when I was supposed to. My rental date had been changed to the date I went in-person to the pickup location and extended for ten days after this, attempting to charge over $300 dollars. As I had reiterated several times earlier, both on the phone and in person, my reservation was not for several days after this point, and it was only for 24 hours. Again, my rental details were said to be updated during this phone call. Because of the way the process had played out thus far, my stepfather decided to stop by the pickup location a couple days before the pickup date to be sure everything was set. Again, the details were confirmed by the representative, but on the day of the pickup, there was no one at the location. We had to call three times before someone answered, and they said they had been asleep and would come over. When they finally arrived, they had all the details wrong again for how many days the rental would be used, and the truck was full of used blankets/equipment from the previous renter. When we went to return the trailer later the same day, there was again no one there, and this time no one answered the phone or ever came. We took pictures of the returned vehicle to ensure we wouldn't be charged. Overall, this experience was absolutely horrible, and I was honestly in awe that it was possible for that many mistakes to be made.SAVANNAH F.

I was not told about the gas refill charge and driving 50 miles doubled my rate... I had no idea. It may have been in the fine print but I could not read it and assumed the dealer would have explained that. It should have been.LOUIS S.

Parking was difficult to figure out being so close to a high-traffic highway with little room so I pulled into the side of the building.Tracy B.
The truck I was supposed to have reserved was not in the right location. I had to drive an extra 15 miles to this location to get the last truck in the area. I was charged for these extra miles and was unable to get my truck until 10:00am when my reservation was at 8:30am.Blake L.

While the pickup location was very accomodating I went 30 miles from home to get this uhaul bc your site said that the place that has them here "Sweat's Wrecker Service" couldn't guarantee a 26ft truck on that date. When we rented the truck we were told that we could, however, return the truck to Sweats to save some money. Sweats refused the truck and was extremely rude. I understand that something was incorrect in the computer but he would not even listen to my concerns and actually pushed the keys back in my face and told me to take it back from where I got it that he had plenty of trucks and didn't need mine. Incredibly rude and unhelpful, not to mention I had to spend all that extra money for no reason to return it. I was not happy at all especially since we spent days and a lot of money on the rental moving and I had to take time out of moving time that I had taken off of work for in order to return the truck.Colby A.

I didn't know where to park the truck after hours - I had the 26' truck and there was a space in front of the door or in front of a garage door left. Neither space seemed appropriate from a truck size standpoint. I also was confused for the check in process, I just received a verification code, and didn't go through the step by step process the uhaul website said I would need to go through. Address items above. Representative training on customer service. Act friendly and courteous to customers. Help customers when needed. Have good supply of moving blankets and other supplies. A customer uses your service once a year or so, even though routine for worker, make positive impression on customer who is expecting exceptional service (even if worker doesn't want to be at work)JAMES T.

Although I found a place to park, with no one there, I could see a problem. Fortunately I was experienced with dealing with moving trailers. I could see that a novice might have some problems if the parking had been more croweded. There was several times I was forced to move into a busy traffic lane to park the trailer.william M.
