The location was fine, but my overall experience with uhaul was horrible. It is the second time that the day before I have received a phone call saying my reservation is not available. The significantly smaller truck was an hour away and it was too late to book with anyone else. THE SECOND TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED. Either give me better options and discounts or buy more trucks. I will never be using uhaul again. We were moving a large house out of town and could not make multiple trips or do it another day. We were completely screwed over and stuck because of uhaul.

The owner of the convenience store was absolutely lovely, she was very helpful and generally fantastic to interact with. Although, there was a problem with the account and when she called in to Uhaul on our behalf to sort it out the lady from the uhaul representative was very rude to her and disrespectful. I'm disappointed the uhaul person treated this lovely lady so poorly.

There is NO Uhaul sign that we could see from the road. If we hadn't seen Uhaul equipment there - we would not have known.

I phoned 2 locations and it was verified at the location where I rented that it was. 69 cents per km. On my email invoice it stated. 89 cents per km. I went back to the location and complained. They did not know the price had changed and they like every other dealer uses U haul computer system. She called her supervisor and was given an update. I insisted on getting a refund for the overcharge and the supervisor said it would be done and put back on my credit card. I haven't seen it yet. I am not impressed with U haul as a company because a) employees, websites, phone answering systems are not kept up to date with price changes B) the location cannot make corrections to invoices which are generated centrally from the states C) it leaves salespersons in a vulnerable position as customers get ticked off because of the above.

The mobile app is awful. I tried several browsers to complete the mobile drop off and nothing worked. And it failed in a variety of different ways. I have a picture of the mileage and gas if this is required because I was unable to submit it.

The truck was covered in dirt and mud in the floor mats. Windshield washer was empty. The associate wasn't very knowledgeable Have rented several times from the Barton street location in hamilton and it was 100% better

Staff were nice enough to be there for me at an early time. Uhaul had re-pointed me to the location outside St. Catharines so it was nice for this pick up location to be there for me at my requested time.

There was a small pick up issue in that I had booked for the 24/7 self pick up but when I arrived and tried to do so on the website I was told that my pickup had been converted to an in person pick up and I had to go into the store. The official store opening hours were 1 hour after I had scheduled my pickup so I spent quite a bit of time on the phone trying to contact UHAUL but was on hold for at least 20 minutes before I noticed that the store had opened early.

Spilled drink all over dash, cigarette ash, and the string smell of cigarettes lingering in cab. Seems to be zero sanitization during Covid- 19 time. Truck was really muddy, yet the pictures that were sent were of a truck for me to approve were of a similar truck being sprayed down and cleaned.

the staff couldnt figure out how to get me my keys and when they did. apparently they gave me the keys to the wrong truck and i had to go back in the store and redo everything. it was very time consuming an i lost over an hour on my rental.

I would recommend this location simply based on convenience. The truck had only 1/4 tank of gas, and the engine light was on and the clerk couldn't get the paperwork done when we picked up the truck because he couldn't get the computer to work.

Overall an excellent experience. I was surprised to find that the 6x12 trailer I ordered did not have a tongue jack. The young lady at the location offered to help lift the tongue but I managed to do it myself. For an old guy with a history of back problems that was a risky proposition. uhaul should install tongue jacks on this model.

Only one major problem. I rented the truck at the Grimsby location and had to pick it up in Vineland. This is an additional 36 km out of my way and cost me an additional $25 at 69cents a km? Why must I pay this for Uhaul's error?

I reserved a 20' truck almost a month in advance to pick up in Huntsville ON. Days before my move i was told it was not available and offered a 26' truck but was told it was coming from Nova Scotia so they could not guarentee what time it would arrive exactly. I had movers booked to load the truck for 9am, so that timing would not work for me. I then had to drive a half hr away to Dwight (next closest place) to pick up a 15' truck. It was too small and so had to make two trips (3.5 hrs one way to the new house). When we dropped it off the starting km had been entered wrong so it took a while to sort that out. Overall my experience with UHAUL was very stressfull. I was told that a reservation is really more of a "request", so they wont guatentee anything until a day or two before. I like to know that everything is taken care if in advanced. This made everything feel a lot more last minute which it shouldn't have been. I did have some nice call centre reps to help, and the staff at the locations were very nice but it is a bad system overall. I will be usung a different company in the future.

Back of truck was full of green soap/detergent that took us half an hr to clean. Pick up took over 40 minutes to get the keys and a receipt. Not recommended at all.

The vineland location were lovely people. My issue however is with the online Uhaul experience. I was registered for king street in BEAMSVILLE, received a confirmation email.. and was then sent to king street in VINELAND to pick up the truck (completely out of my way!) I will be contacting Uhaul to be reimbursed for my mileage.

Front ratchet mechanisms were both rusted and seized and did not function which cause much delay, aggravation and extra expense. I have spoken with Uhaul customer service with my complaints and requested a refund which they forwarded to the area representative, I have not had a follow up. Would never rent another Uhaul trailer again.
