I am unhappy with U-Haul itself with their mobile app. I reserved at this location. Was called b/c what I wanted was not going to be available at that location so I complied with the new location. When I arrived to pick up the truck I was told the reservation was at the place I originally made the reservation. Then, it was not clear that I was to return the gas gauge to where it was when I picked up the truck. I believe I'm due a bit of compensation at least foe the reservation debacle. Additionally, the men I hired to help me move had to change the time to later in that day and as I attempted to change the time of pick up through the mobile app, it was inconsistent with what times I could pick it up depending on other filters I was choosing. I'm considering renting a storage unit and I hope that the discount that was offered at the time of reservation will be valid for when and if I need itNicole G.

It was a Las Vegas to Whittier, CA drive across the desert. I was 100F+ and the A/C did not run cold air on hills or when accelerating. I suggested the A/C to be serviced.MARK ALLEN H.

This comment has nothing to do with the pickup or dropoff location. The offer for one month of free storage seems like a scam. When I called Uhaul to use this offer, there were no available participating locations where I now live. The only available option was to PAY for the storage. We reserved a 7' moving truck and equipment on August 11th for our August 31st move. We reserved a 7' moving truck because we were on a super stick timeline to get everyone out of one house, clean, and into another before 5:00pm. We arrived on August 31st ten minutes prior to our scheduled pick up time. When we walked inside the person working was explaining to someone else that her truck size has not been returned so she would be "helping them out" by giving her their last 7' truck. She then looked up at us and said "oh that must be whose truck I am giving you" to which I responded yes. I understand that things happen and there was not a truck returned, but I scheduled this weeks out due to the short timeline we had on our moving date. The person who helped us get the keys changed the cost of our moving truck to the much smaller truck we received, but we ended up paying twice what we would have paid due to the amount of trips we had to take to get our things out of one house and into another. Overall it was a super disappointing situation and I will never go through Uhaul again while moving, or recommend them to anyone I know who is moving.RACHEL A.

When we arrived, the young lady who met us at the gate was very nice and helpful. She also had a beautiful smile. There was an older gentleman who came out to assist with the tow. He could not help with the chains under the car because he had knee surgery. He went to get assistance, but apparently everyone else was at lunch.Michele S.

Raise the limit on the truck's governor from 75 mph to 80-85 mph. Travelling across country, the interstate limit is mostly 75 mph. This, realistically, means that the flow of traffic moves at between 80-85 mph. Not being able to move at the flow of traffic put me in a dangerous situation several times on my trip. Trying to pass a vehicle that is going at just below the limit means that it can take up to two minutes to pass them. Then, if a vehicle going much faster is coming up behind you, things can get tricky and, at times, dangerous. I understand the utility of the governor, but it needs to be applicable to real road conditions.SEAN PATRICK N.

Make space available for drop offs if you're not going to provide a code for after hours drop offs. I did not want to leave the trailer in the lot because someone can just hook up and take off but I'm also not going to hang onto it and accept responsibility for it in this town if I'm don't need it in my possession. You need a person on standby to answer a phone and provide a gate code so people can drop trailers off behind the gate.Nicholas L.

The pick up location was clean and the staff was super friendly. This gripe has nothing to do with the staff, but with the truck itself. The truck had a few issues. Half way to our house the â€œ gas capâ€ indicator light came on. The truck seemed to be putting/misfiring at freeway speeds and low speeds. I called Uhaul for service and to document the indicator light error. The called back within 10-15 mins and stated the light should go away after a few miles. It didn't. The truck drove like hell the whole way to Phoenix and we were jolting around for 280+ miles. LOL. The truck felt like a 25 cent mechanical pony in front of an old grocery store. I want the next family to have a safer and more comfortable ride. Please look into this issue.ARON M.
