I rented the vehicle on line from a facility in Beaumont; however, two days before I was to pickup the vehicle, I received a text to pick up the vehicle in N. Orange at 11:30am. This pickup point was over 30 miles from the rental location. I arrived at the pickup point early but the vehicle didn't arrive at the location until 12:20pm. I communicated with several individuals at U-Haul from the time that I rented the vehicle until the actual pickup date. No one attempted to help me with making sure that the vehicle was at the original location. I am very disappointed with the may I was treated and will think hard before I rent again from U-Haul. I had to drive over 30 miles from my rental point yet I was charged $14.88 for fuel. The passenger side mirror would not stay fixed. Had to pull over many times to re-set. Hitting a bump would cause to swivel/lose setting. For most of the ~500 mile trip I could not see traffic in the lane to my right. I will probably not use U-Haul again.richard R.
I rented a Uhaul 19.99 truck unsure of size the actual picking up was quick an easy the drop off is when I had a problem I know it wasn't the companies fault but when I went to return the truck my access to dropping it off I couldn't get into the gate I called the office i knew no one wouldn't be there but i left a message letting whoever in charge know of the situation I would have thought someone would given me a return release letting me know they received the message an letting me know why my access was not permitted but i never did to be able to return the truck I left work early afraid of being charged extra because of having it a extra day when I arrived the lady at the desk told me my price would be adjusted due to the extra mileage but it wasn'tMarquetta J.
I use this location because it's close to my house. It's not like a regular uhaul location. They don't check out or in equipment with you, the trucks are dirty, and they certainly aren't available to help you hook up a trailerJohn S.
Update rental trucks the truck I picked up had zipp ties holding fender wells on belts on motor making noise had low tires the lady didn't even get out and show me which truck and make sure everything was goodtommy M.

Not lie you have something and don't! Send me out of state to get a trailer then be told they won't help because of CoronaVirus! Then have to call and sit on hold for the fourth time that same day for atleast 28 to 35 minutes each time! Then sent to another place in Texas to finally get a closed trailer! Girls were very helpful and apologetic for Uhaul mess up! Needless to say price had changed to higher price from what was quoted from original call! Again where I finally got trailer kudos to them! The actual trailer pulled really rough it was hard drive, trailer tires definitely not balanced! Was told I would get credit on my contract due to Uhaul mistakes! Nothing yet!!!!!!! Told manager would call me, still no call and trailer was returnedMelinda T.

I arrived at 9:00 am to pick up the truck. Mackenzie showed up 10 min later. She never spoke or looked at me. She was angry & out of sorts. I said, â€œDon't you speak to people?â€ She informed me that this place doesn't open until 10:00 am. I had been told 9:00 on the phone the night before when I made the reservation. She continued to be extremely rude and disrespectful. She finally slammed the key on the task indicating I could get the truck. I asked her which truck and she pointed and mumble â€œ15 footerâ€. I began an inspection of the truck when she cut a donut in her car and came to a stop near the truck. She wanted to know if I was having a problem. When I said no, she got in her car and sped off. She is probably the nastiest person I've ever encountered. I will never again use this U-Haul business. There is another one just down Hwy 87 that I can use. In fact, I would drive any distance to avoid Mackenzie.ANNA T.

This is a mini storage facility that also rents u-hauls.We arrived to drop off the trailer that we had rented and the gate to the facility was closed and we had not been given the gate code. multiple calls to the facility number and u-haul did not help. ended up having to drop the trailer the next day as we were unable to find an alternate place to drop the trailer that was within 20 miles of our location, extremely inconvenientRichard G.

When I rented truck was informed that if I needed more time simply call return number. Needed another day so I called an left message saying I needed another day. Lady call back hrs later and said needed it back by 4 pm for anther reservation. So we raced home and emptied truck and returned it b4 4pm. Was charged another FULL DAY for another 8hrs of use. Will not give future moving business needs to this location when there's more options in area ????????Burnace H.
