My husband put in more than enough gas when he returned the truck which he did after hours. The next day they billed us for 7 gallons of gas. He went to go talk to them and the women would not help him or allow him to take a picture of the gas gage and mileage. So we were stuck with buying gas we didn't use. My drop off experience was horrible. I was originally scheduled to drop off at 1930 E Mineral King Ave, Visalia, CA 93292. I sat in the line for drop off for over 30 minutes with the truck on and a/c due to the heat. Finally someone came to the truck to tell me they could NOT accept the truck and trailer because they were full. They didn't offer to transfer my info to another location. They told me it was on my to find another location. I finally found a location, out of my way, and the lady tried her best to help me. Unfotunately, I was at her location another 1.5-2 hours while she tried looking me up in the system and checking me in. If things couldn't get worst, I was then charged extra for my gas being less than the original amount of 5/8. Of course this was all due to the waiting in the vehicle to get helped at the Mineral King location and driving out of my way to find a location that could help. I tried calling customer service to be told the wait time was 40-50 minutes to hold. I am so let down with the disorganization and disconnect. They charged me for 3 days instead of the two I actually rented. Charged me 3 days of dolly when I picked up the uhaul the dolly was rolling around in the back, I had to pull over to see why the noise. When I asked why I was charged 3 days she lied and said uhaul did it not her. Well she was the one who processed the paperwork at her location. ILL NEVER RENT THERE AGAIN.Christina G.

The location pick-up was great. I DID however have a problem with the reservation system. I reserved a 15 foot truck weeks in advance only to be given a 10 foot truck which would not fit all of my belongings. Leaving me to now make several other trips to finish my move. We turned in truck at 5 no one was thier so tried to follow directions of the self turn in but bad internet service. So dropped off keys in box received a text the following day asking when will the truck be returned. When I called to find out what happened the employee I talked to said that location was closed won't be open till following day. I swept out truck and put gas exactly where was when I received it and got charged more. Unprofessional didn't even hear back.LUIS R.

This was a storage facility, and was able to reserve a trailer with little worries. A young lady assisted in getting g me set up, and was very nice.Bill M.
Horrible process to get key after hours. Was informed by this location the mobile pick up is super easy and instructions to follow are in the email/text. Everything for this pick up was extremely , painstakingly a frustrating experience. . Needed a code to get uhaul key, this is obtained by calling the main ph #, and being put on hold for 30 minutes (if lucky), then you walk through process with person over the phone for another 15 minutes or more.. must verify and take driver license info all over again even if you did it beforehand to try and be prepared...wow.. just please don't use mobile pick up if you don't have to, and get your truck during office hours to avoid this craziness!regina W.

Truck had been broken into the night before we picked it up and gas was siphened but the clerk thought it would be fine, it was not! The gas valve was actually broken and leak fuel the entire trip! We advised the U-Haul clerks at both ends of the trip but neither did anything!Juanita W.

The locations first off was not the closest to my residence I passed 2 hauls on the way to this location secondly they were not accommodating at all I needed to purchase a few items to make the rental work and they had nothing on site thirdly not only was the equipment missing a chain and tail light (which was not addressed on site) I had to personally hook the equipment up myself and was notified to go to another site after I had left to fix the light(I was not aware of there needing to be two chains until I showed up to drop off rental)Ian H.

I went to 3 other locations in Visalia and which all refused the trailer return. The locations on Burke and Douglas were both downright rude. The person on Noble was friendly and very accommodating. The website and phone service were completely inadequate and frustrating. I spent 3 hours of my time trying to return a trailer which should have taken 5 minutes.bill M.

U Haul wastes customers time by indicating that they might qualify for a 20% to 30% discount and might get a discount code online, then when you enter the code the U Haul site doesn't process this and ignores the discount code. When you contact the Live Chat about the problem, the Live Chat refers you to a Service Line number that also doesn't help you with the problem, and it shifts you to the Customer Service Line that doesn't honor the discount code or help you resolve this problem. The Custome Service rep tells you they can't send you anything to get the local site provide the discount and told me to just discuss the problem with the local site manager. The local site managers say they have nothing they can do with U Haul's failure to provide the 20-30% discounts. U Haul waste about a half hour of my time and aggravated me with its misleading information it provides online indicated discounts are available to VIP Customers. U Haul should provide real discounts to its customers and not waste their time pretending they offer discounts when it doesn't. I had a horrible experience and I told your local managers that the way U Haul handles this is going to encourage customers like me to take their business to another rental service because of the way that U Haul misleads customers and wastes their time pretending they will help you with the discount when this is pure baloney. I am pissed about the way your company misled me and wasted my time and it may cause me to take my business elsewhere where the discounts are real.Robert P.

I rented an auto transport that was dirty and oily upon receipt ( I have pics to document it). I was told that I would be charged a cleaning fee if it was returned dirty so I cleaned it before I returned it. I originally rented for two days but I was able to return it after 30 hours (9:00am Sat to 2:30pm Sun). I called and asked for a prorated fee but was denied. I picked it up on Sat and the rental location was closed on Sun. Why was I charged for two days when I could have only rented for one day and return it anytime on Sunday which I did?Bradley L.
