Better lighting and easier path to the drop box and front door. Almost broke my ankle walking down to the drop box in the dark.

Donna H.Not sure who to properly blame for this. Made a reservation at a "preferred" pick-up location for a truck, dolly, and furniture blankets. Location was changed to a different location as "confirmed", then changed again as "confirmed" at yet a third location a day prior to pick-up. I arrived at the "confirmed" pick-up location - they had the truck, and the furniture blankets, but NOT the appliance dolly. The rep at the site seemed clueless as to how to solve the problem. I had to drive all over town trying to find an appliance dolly that I needed for the move. I finally found one, and had to do a separate contract for the dolly. This is after I had two separate "confirmed" reservations.
Christopher E.Simplify the process for using the app. In the time it took me to get through all the app steps, another customer who was not using the app came in and was able to complete the rental process and depart the location. I am doubtful that I will use the app next time.

Nora S.Reservation called for an appliance dolly. I picked up the rental after hours and did not find the dolly with the truck. I called the local number and was directed to another u-haul facility to pick up a dolly. The other facility had one and fulfilled that need, but it cost me an additional 10 miles of fees in the truck to accomplish that. I may have to reconsider truck pickups outside of business hours.

It was soo frustrating. Yes I know it is an outlet but some outlets shouldn't be used. I had waste so much time and extra mileage yet no one offered any discount or anything. Just needs to better.

David G.Location closed earlier than indicated, but the employee waited for me to arrive to rent the tow dolly (thank you!) I forgot my tow bar, so had to return 20 mins later to actually pick up tow dolly. This location apparently shares with a tow company - one of their flatbed trucks was blocking the entrance and the driver was just about to start his daily check out of the tow truck. Did not bother to move so I could pass and pick up my tow dolly. Appears another customer was also trying to return a rental van and had to park his rental elsewhere. I ended up having to drive over the curb and across the grass to get the tow dolly. The tow truck driver saw i was trying to pick up and did not bother to move or anything. I had to drive across the grass and over the curb again in order to exit. Location was also closed on Sunday when I returned the tow dolly even though the hours posted said they were open. Apart from that issue, the employee was friendly and it was easy to rent.

Check engine light was on when I picked it up, I was in a hurry, so I checked the oil and water, they were OK, so I took it anyway. They were suppose to be open when I returned it at 3:22 PM, but they were already closed and the self check-in app is bad.
DARRELLLEE Q.There was no-one there. Another waiting customer that was in his vehicle called and was told the attendant was in traffic. ??? I was in traffic for over 18 hours the day before in the uhaul on I 95 in a grid lock, but I still had to pay a extra days fee! Can I charge the attendant that wasn't at his post to process me out for the time I had to wait? Nope! I'd like my extra days fee refunded.
JENNIFERL H.Your company moved our pickup location over and over right at the last minute, to the point that it was unreasonably far to pick up at all. I canceled and started over with this location, forcing a 1-way trip into a round trip, which cost more money. Worse, the truck's key was worn out. I couldn't turn the engine on and thought the battery was dead, but an employee showed me that I had to turn the key with all my might. I literally had to stand up and crank it to get it to turn on. Having to do that over and over throughout my trip made my wrist really sore. When I returned the Uhaul, the office was closed during its normal business hours. Exceptionally poor service from Uhaul. I won't be choosing your company again.
Sandra P.I reserved a truck for an 8 AM pickup and arrived at 7:45 am, expecting the process to be done using my smart phone, but when I checked in online, the order had been changed to pickup in-store. I waited in the parking lot until 8:10 am, but the store didn't open. I called the store and my call went straight to voice-mail. I waited a few more minutes and then called U-Haul central operations where I explained the situation and got passed to multiple staff members who explained that the site staff had not processed my pickup for a mobile order and that the store opened at 8:00 am. While I was on the phone with U-Haul trying to adjust my pickup location to a site that was actually open and had the equipment available, a staff member arrived at about 8:25 am. Once the staff member arrived, she was very fast and professional in assigning my truck. The truck was clean and in good working condition. When I returned the equipment later that day, I tried to process the return using my smart phone, but since they don't have a bar code posted near the front entrance, the software system won't let you proceed. Thankfully, staff was still working in the store and the in-person return process was very quick and professional. I did ask about the bar code for on-line returns and staff told me they didn't have the bar code posted for the smart phone applications. U-Haul should not advertise mobile equipment check-out/check-in at this location if it the site can't actually support it. I have used this location several times in the past and have previously had very good service. Hopefully this less than great experience was a one time issue.

RICHARDDOUGLAS T.As always, U-Haul company does a good job. I do have a concern however. When purchasing a rental, it was explained to me that the first 50 miles I would not be charged for dollars per mile. And yet my receipt says that I drove 39 miles at a particular dollars per mile and I was charged for that. Why is this so? It's not a huge deal, but it certainly makes me feel very put off. Maybe I misunderstood in that the first 50 miles is a particular dollars per mile and anything over 50 miles is another rate but I haven't been able to confirm this. Anyhow hopefully this helps. Hope you have a great Christmas

David M.Clean the trucks and check tire pressure during the colder days as temperatures can affect tire pressure. When customers have animals in the truck you should vacuum and clean out more frequently.

Richard M.When I showed up, there was a sign on the door saying they will be back at 10:40, I showed up 10:05 and had to wait, which caused me to be late for my 1st job and 2nd job ended up canceling because of it. They came back both with bags of food like they went out for lunch but why couldn't one go and one stay? Leaving an establishment during operating hours is very unprofessional. I also had a very dirty truck and I put gas in (like I always do at every location) and yet I'm charged for the gas and truck being dirty but they GAVE IT TO ME LIKE THAT!!! This was the worst uhaul experience ever and I wouldn't ever go to this location again or recommend anybody.
