The Back tire was low on air and I had to leave my pick up there even though I had driven there 60 miles, but when I saw the tire low on air I decided to turn around and abandon my move. Also the breaks are really bad on this truck making all kind of noise, truck was very dirt full of mud on the outside. I am not sure why but normally I have had better experiences with renting from Uhaul.

THOMAS EThe trailer was clean when I got it. One of the wheel straps was broken and had to be replaced, and tire pressure was on the lower side at 40 psi, where it needed to be at 65. Other than that, the trailer was fine.
Hilliard BOutrageously horrible service. I cannot believe that the location would charge another full rental day after I dropped off the equipment within one hour of the scheduled drop off time - and even worse, they had called and asked and I told them when I would be there. I will never use that location again.
Peter SVery convenient location.. everything went just fine. I did sweep to try out a little bit because I was putting antique furniture in there but all in all it wasn't good shape.
Stephen AThere seems to be no office at this location. Odd. None the less, we arrived before opening and somebody met us in the parking lot and got us checked in quickly and said we could start hooking up our assigned car trailer, fine. They came over and asked if we wanted the insurance. I said no. My bill now shows $8 extra for insurance. I've emailed the provided email alias twice for that to be removed... no reply yet. And after we got to our destination and started loading the car onto the car trailer, only then did we find that one of the over-the-tire straps was broken and didn't reach the ratchet to properly secure the car. Maybe I should have gotten the insurance? lol. And upon returning the trailer later that afternoon, nobody was around, so I left the trailer in the parking lot, took a pic and emailed it in as evidence of the return.
Brad HThe place was all torn up, didn't answer the phone during normal hours, auto trailer had torn wheel tie down strap ( so the owner never checked this trailer ) & had to return the trailer & get the other one ( thank god there was one ). Also , my original drop off location ( Mocksville, Nc ) , he was not there, place locked up tight. Sign on door said to call U-Haul ? Nothing but a bad experience, even the price of the trailer was too high !
Albert SPlease make sure that all trailer types are listed in your descriptions so that a customer can click on one and rent it. I had to wait for an agent because the type of trailer wasn't shown online exactly like the one in the parking lot.
Paul BI originally reserved 15' truck for one way, but when I arrived at the location, they said they didnt have any of that size, even though I had a successful reservation. I had to get a smaller size that I had to drop off to the same location. Since it was a smaller size, I had to do two arounds. So instead of driving the distance one time, I had to drive it 4 times and that also meant I spend way more on gas. It was a horrible experience.
Yagmur ONo onr on site because after hours so above is unapplicable. However I went out of my way to select a flexible drop off place which would have saved me $19 l, 41 miles one way however the pace said 24hour drop off availability but somehow because i wasn't made aware that I had to have someone check the equipment back in or some way they charged $20 since it wasn't done which i didnt know i had to do. CS said it was in fine print contract however at pickup i was not made aware of it & was charged dropping off after hours. Could have saved 2 hours of driving but to get charged $20 after I accommodated place they asked me to I still get charged and feels like a waste if my time and gas. I feel taken advantage of. And I wasted gas and much time on a already hectic stress trip in heat advisory taking to drop site that they recommended. Upsetting.
Ginger SInside store was a complete mess. Nothing in order or organized. Nothing besides blankets all over the place, dimly lit and IMO filthy.
Mike DExtend hours a bit, if possible. Staff on-site was very helpful, though it seemed like he was overworked.

JAMES MDrop off was after their closing at 4pm. So there was no way to rate the personnel or cleanliness of the office. I returned the trailer at 12:10am 8/18/24 which was partly due to my later than possible departure from Salisbury, MD--then not exceeding the 55mph limit. But I did pay the additional $20 for Sunday.

ALEKSANDR SWhen I returned to drop off the truck at noon, the door was locked and sign said to call them if you need them. Several customers left frustrated and I ended up dropping the key in the drop box. Probably wouldn't go there again.

OLUYOMI ALot is small and crowded, making it very difficult to drop off equipment. Never saw a staff member and other customers were ahead of me waiting when i arrived, so I chose to complete the drop off remotely and disconnected the trailer myself. There was no room to turn vehicle around, so I had to back out after disconnecting the trailer. This is the only site option available in Leesburg, so it's hard not to use them. I have used this site many times and the customer service has gone down over the years. The site is small and difficult to access when full of equipment.

Philip CPhil was outstanding. I texted him asking to give me a newer truck to make sure it doesn't break down when driving to Dallas, he absolutely without a question accommodated that. Additionally, he added 250 miles and 2 days plus allowed me to pick up the Uhaul 1 day earlier. Phil thanks soooo much you are the best.

BENTONJOHN OThis is the only dealer locally that provides blankets and dollies. Need more locations to do the same.
David AFirst truck had all 4 wheels stuck to tire ruts. Could not get truck to get free of ruts. Had to switch to second truck. This truck had a hot transmission message and check engine light at 2 hours into trip. Truck shut down at top of exit ramp. Roadside assistance arrived about 2 hours later. Got truck going which lasted about 30 minutes then hot transmission light/check engine light came on. Waited 2.5 hours for tow truck. Very frustrating experience.

John HThe equipment was not clean or well maintained yet they automatically charge a $25 cleaning fee without notice and never answer the phone when trying to inquire about the charge.
Kee HOur brand new trailer hitch got stuck on the truck and we could not get it off. Went to the office the next day to talk to staff and no one was there. Hitch was gone off the trailer. No one answers the phone at this location and the mailbox is full when trying to leave a message. We have driven there 15 times in the last month and no one is ever in the office.

Amy C. came into the office 2 hours early and allowed me to pick up my rental early to be able to load and drive the 5 hours. She was extremely helpful and explained everything to me. She was very positive and great representative of your company. Gracias.
Steven HBefore setting miles the attendant should check the route not the distance between stores. I did not appreciate overage charges at the end point. The miles provided did not give me any to drop my load off and go to drop off location.

Imran Ji would never recommend uhaul to anyone. worst company experience ever. this one was a little better but not by much. shoutout to the random business next door though, they were so helpful. my favorite experience at this place was when a worker drove their car into the space we were trying to unload the uhaul and TOOK A NAP IN THEIR CAR. thanks, uhaul.
Andrew ZWe were guaranteed a 15' foot truck and was given a 10' foot without being notified. Then was charged another $10 without being notified after they gave us a smaller truck than we asked for. I was told by a customer service rep that we would have to approve any additional charges. That was not the case because they took it out of our account without even providing a receipt for why they charged extra for the smaller truck that we did not ask for. Poor experience. Do not use this Leesburg location.

Christina EHad a reservation for a truck that was rented out before our scheduled pick up time to walk in customers. Very unacceptable as we had to wait for a truck to be available and ended up with smaller equipment then we reserved.

Vincent SThe air conditioning in the truck was terrible. Hottest day of the year and there was minimal cooling when running the a/c on max with fan on high. It's dangerous to rent something like that to customers, spent hours in a hot cab….awful.

Jeffrey KLied about fuel in truck and assessed me fees. Not even around to recieve the return but somehow was able to claim it was not returned in clean condition Maybe had they been on premises they could have seen my sweeping out the truck and attempting to return the keys and dolly.

Peter CThe small trailer I used on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, to haul 2 ladders worked out great. I strapped them down using bungee cords and they stayed in place from Leesburg to Winchester. The return trip was fine also. I backed up the trailer to the same location at the U-Haul office. Thank you so much for your help. Dennis Mills
dennis mThe two people who work at this location are not very friendly. I was charged a cleaning fee for what I would consider normal usage (a little coffee spill and some dirt from my shoes). I have never been charged a cleaning fee in using uhaul for all my moves in over 30 years. I clearly should have looked at the Google reviews as they reflect how awful this location is.
