Unprofessional staff, didn’t seem to know where to find keys to truck, reserved two dollies a week before the rental date, did not have either of them, resulting in a more difficult move.

Well I have used haul in the past and it’s been a very good experience, this is the first one that I ever used that don’t hook the equipment up you and make sure everything is good before you leave, that’s what I’m use too, I was caught off guard when that didn’t happened, maybe that’s how this one do business,but I only went to them because I didnt feel like driving all the way to Decatur and this was close and convenient for me for what I had to do,now that I know that’s how they operate I guess it’s ok,maybe they should put up signs saying that you have to hook up what you rent and lower the price.

The first Car Hauler I was going to pick up, one of the tires had a bad spot in it and would have not made the journey. The lady at the desk not only wouldnt help me hook up the hauler, but I'm pretty sure she didnt know how to herself.

NO ONE WAS THERE WHEN I GOT THERE AND AFTER WAITING FOR ALMOST 30 MINUTES I CALLED UHAUL AND THEY FINALLY GOT SOMEONE THERE. I WAITED 45 MIN IN THE HEAT. WHEN THE PERSON GOT THERE THEY WERE EXTREMELY RUDE. AFTER FINISHED ASKED ME IF ANYTHING ELSE AND I SAID MAYBE AN APOLOGY FOR MAKING ME WAIT SO LONG. SHE GOT REALLY MAD AND SAID IF I HAD GIVEN HER TIME SHE WAS GOING TO APOLOGIZE. THIS WAS AFTER BEING THERE FOR 20 MINUTES AND NOT SAYING ANYTHING EXCEPT ASKING QUESTIONS ABOUT RETURN AND SUCH.

Heather literally rolled her eyes at me when I told her I wanted a receipt that the trailer had been returned. They had a pit bull in the office that jumped on me almost knocked me over. Coming back from Panama City Beach I was sunburned and the dog left a scratch down my chest. I would never recommend this place for uhaul or storage. Disrespectful and rude!

We were to pickup by 11 but nobody was in the office to nearly noon. Then they got the miles totally wrong and are now over charging us.

The place looks like a hangout for kids. Trash everywhere. The "toy boy" boyfriend in the corner doesn't help with anything. I had to go outside and connect the trailer by myself. Absolutely no assistance from the "staff" - if that's what they were supposed to be. Avoid this location like it has the plague.

Customer service wasnt impressive. When returning g to get my deposit back, store was closed for lunch with no notice of returning back. When I picked up the trailer, the lady seemed irritated that I came in and had to get up from her chair and away from her boyfriend to help me.

No one ever showed up to rent us the truck. We were on a time schedule and we waited there for over a hour when finally the area manager showed up and rented us the truck after getting a ignition key made. While we were waiting several people showed up to do business there and told us that its common for them to not to show up at all. This is NOT acceptable in any situation and UHAUL should not allow dealers to act like this.

This location is extremely hard to get in touch with. We called and went by several times before renting, and we also returned our truck a day early on July 4, tried to call to let them know in order to receive a refund for the day, but we could not get in touch with them. We would not recommend this Hartselle location to our worst enemy. I do not know how they even stay in business as hard as they are to get in touch with.

The truck ramp took 2 people to use. In past rentals it only took 1 person to use it.

Answer your phone. Return your voicemails you receive. Be at the business at 9am when your customers are arriving. Don't charge your good customers for your miscommunications and mistakes. Dump the self check in and check out and get back to personal service. Everyone needs to be on the same page at all your locations. Internally investigate that your transactions are being handled in a uniform method. Resolve each issue with disgruntled customers on a one on one basis. You will lose market share if you ignore who keeps you in business.

Person would not stop conversing with her boyfriend who was in the store. She only stopped long enough to tell me to drop the trailer anywhere and when I asked questions she could only respond I don’t know. Customer service was terrible.

Checked website for Aegis, stated that they closed at 1800. Arrived 1730 and the office was closed. Tried to self return, website would not recognize photos of odometer and fuel gauge. Had to call Uhaul dispatch in Huntsville Alabama and get assistance. The lady at dispatch was extremely helpful.

I tried to extend my rental by 2 hours (from 9:30pm to 11:30pm) and it was going to cost me an addition $60 when I paid $80 for 14 hours. I thought that was ridiculous. I suggest you look into changing that.

I got charged a extra $26.30 and I have no reason why. Also the brake buzzer went off my whole trip and I had to put and pump petal to the floor to have any brakes. I called this morning to report and she said maintenance would look at it.

No one was there at the time of our drop off at 3 pm in the afternoon. I've rented from U-Haul several times over the years and this experience for this weekend was the worst. Really disappointing.

Although the business does not normally rent until 10, they open at 9 (per their door hours). However, they were 15 minutes late opening the business, and then had to reboot the computer, had issues, etc.. that we did not leave the business until after 10:15. An hour to do a rental is ridiculous.

The "owner/worker" was late opening the store. Bringing her dog in and attending to it instead of her customers. Parked on the sidewalk in front of the store. Not professional at all and I would not want her as a representative of UHaul.
