I went with the Mobile Pick Up direction. The internet was spotty which cause my check in and checkout experience terrible. My suggestion is that there should be a greater internet signal around the area so that people who go through the mobile pick direction would have a pleasant experience.

Not thrilled with the add on fees of "Environmental Fee and No Fault Fee". Why were these not mentioned before? Like the phone companies with there add on fees that are of no benefit to the consumer.

I did my reservation 2 weeks before, 2 days before they call me ( Customer service Michigan) and said that the truck that I need is not available in Bridgman. So the near option was barrien spring, but they don't have the same truck and if I will returned the truck in Bridgman the cost will Increase 120%. The customer service said that Uhaul will give me a credit 50 dollars for the inconveniences. False. When I was picking up and I asked for the credit, the customer service said that the credit can't cause I changed the original reservation. J don't didn't. They change cause they don't have the original . Terrible customer service I filled like if the service was free. Again terrible terrible.

More prominent signage of drop off box for keys during closed hours.

Drop-off location is past a fence with three buildings around, none of which have a clear U-Haul sign. There were no other people in the premises, so I went to the building by the main road and dropped off the key with the cafe owner, who then passed it on to the U-Haul employee. No problems otherwise; I was in and out in about five minutes.

Very unsatisfied with overall experience with u haul. Location was fine had a truck and carrier reservations and it changed three times on the day before reservation and trailer was not available. Went to pick up trailer at another location and it was not there either. Had to go 35 miles away to another location for the trailer. Location had problems putting in the rental and made my day long to say the least. Online reservations is a joke I have not seen the invoice charge yet. I think that some needs to contact me and come up with better resolution for the problems time fuel and mileage wasted on the inept online reservations.

The first trailer that was hitched to my car had no working lights. The person brought their car around to test if it is the trailer or my car. The problem was with the trailer. Then a second trailer was hitched to my car. It also had no working lights. AmThird trailer was hitched to my car. We tested the turn signals and breaks and the lights appeared to work. Nobody thought to test the running lights. As night fell, I was on my journey, and when I stopped at a rest stop, I noticed that there were no lights shining from the trailer. I made sure that my car's night-time running lights were on (even though they normally turn on automatically) but no lights on the trailer!!! It was now late at night, I couldn't find a U-Haul service centre open. I just drove for the next three hours without trailer running lights - NOT AN ACCEPTABLE SITUATION. when I returned the trailer in Canada, I informed the person that was checking me in, but no offer to compensate me in any way. When I asked for a discount, he said that I should call UHaul. I thaught I was returning the trailer to a UHaul location.

The lady who helped me was fantastic. Even though I didn't have a reservation and couldn't provide a final destination address (it was still up in the air at the time), she helped me through the rental process and got me the newest truck she had (just 5,000 miles on it). She was super nice and patient with me. I can't recommend this location enough!

I was told when I picked up the trailer and when I dropped it off that it was my responsibility to attach and unattach the trailer. The dealer employee also requested that I help another customer hook up her trailer when I dropped off my trailer. I instructed her that in nearly 40 years of renting u-haul trailers the dealer always attached the trailer. She told me 3 times and another customer that the u-haul policy requires that the customer does this and not the dealer. She did hook up the safety chains, but neglected to attach the rubber protectors to prevent the chain hooks from detaching. I attached the rubber chain hook protectors and explained to her how to do it and the value. It was very obvious that the employee did not want to get involved with attaching and unattaching the trailers. She then lied about what she told me and the other customer to the owner. This employee was very rude to me, lied about all three incidents, got very angry with me, and raised her voice to me in front of other customer. This employee should be terminated for these incidents. The trailer condition was excellent.

UHaul changed my order that I placed online. I didn't add the insurance, they automatically did. They messed up the type of vehicle I said I was driving to pull the trailer. Then the license plate number was wrong.

The lady working at this location is beyond TOP NOTCH. She went above and beyond in helping me solve a problem caused by the incorrect installation of my trailer hitch by another Uhaul location. I have not had such good customer service from pretty much any other business. She saw a problem and went right to work fixing it. She deserves kudos and a commendation!

I've rented from this location before and always get great service. On this last rental I filled the tank before returning the truck out of courtesy and habit (I rent cars often) and was shocked to discover that I had just donated gas -- no possibility of reimbursement for the gas receipt according to local policy. Somehow that doesn't seem right. -gary

I picked up the 15 ft truck on Sunday October 22, 2017 at this location. She said I would have to put the car "on" the tow dolly myself; I said to her okay. She gave me the paper work and said watch the video. I had one day and did not have a computer available to watch any video. We loaded up the truck, and the next day, went to get the tow dolly hooked up and put car on it. It was cold and rainy and miserable outside. I did not receive any assistance with this process. While loading the car onto the dolly, the ramp on the left side of the tow dolly was pulled all the way out but did not stop and was not secure, causing my vehicle to collapse as it was driven up the ramp. I sustained some damage to the trim of my car. and I may have some alignment issues now. I was able in the pouring rain to navigate through the instructions and secure the vehicle to the tow dolly. After traveling over 1000 mi we made it to the drop off location, I shared with the attendant there what my experience was at the origin. She gave me information to file a complaint to Uhaul regarding my situation and the issues to my vehicle. I will be calling that complaint number very soon.

Only to find out on the pick up day that the pick up location was not the one I reserved and was also confirmed to me when I booked the truck. The truck was in fact 6 miles away in another location. It is not funny to think that I paid at least extra 24 miles (including driving my own car back and forth) and time for the mistake I did not create. It was not a fantastic experience for sure.
