Bill LMy vehicle was not safely secured to the trailer. One strap wasn’t long enough so the wrapped it around the drive shaft next to the tire. Neither of the chains were used. Location I dropped it off at said they were surprised we made it without losing my vehicle. We also had a flat tire and were stranded on the side of the road for 4 hours. Tire tech said the lug nuts were loose on all 4 tires. The tire that blew appeared to be a retread. I will be requested a full refund and filing an official complaint, as they should have never allowed me to leave with the trailer.

Michael LArea to park trailers was on an incline. Hard to disconnect the trailer without a jack. AND DANGEROUS Was raining, so can't fault the dealer for not having trailer clean outside. Inside was dirty too though. Had to blow out before using.

Thought he was going to come around the corner to fight at one point. He is a very poor representative of your company. The other locations I dealt with were fantastic.

Alexzandria VThere was dog hair in the U-Haul. The AC went out on the trip to my destination. The mileage I picked up at was not reported correctly and neither was the fuel. I was charged a $15 fuel charge, I brought the U-Haul back with the same amount of fuel I picked it up with. I took a photo of the mileage and fuel gage when I picked up. I was supposed to receive a call about the charge and never did.

Kyle BWe delivered the trailer 3-days early and was not allowed/given a deduct for the un-used days. Calling U-Haul was useless who stated no refund would be given. But, if we used the trailer longer then planned we would have had to pay extra. This appeared to us to be nothing short of extortion.
Billy FThe experience was bad from Sep. 3rd all the way until we took it back on Sept.4,2022. They gave 2 of our U-Haul's away everytime we would call the 1-800 Uhaul the lady was helpful until we told her another customer drove off in our U-Haul. She left me on hold for over 20 min I had to hang up and call back. When calling back the lady that answered said I have your customer on the phone very unprofessional. We had to drive 30 mins away just to get another U-Haul. We were suppose to have a dolly with the U-Haul and we didn't get that. By the time we noticed that everything was closed. My wife parents had to drive a hour in a half to bring us a dolly and drive back home. This experience with a U-Haul has been terrible.

tom lLess hassle renting! Having to use your own phone to take pictures of drivers license and all the unnecessary hoops you have to jump through! Get scanners or card readers for the locations. Not like you can’t afford it. Even the location manager said “There’s big money in moving people” I mean hell your have a truck rental fee, a mileage fee, renters tax, regular sales tax and have to replace all the gas… should be a lot smoother rental procedure after being price gouged for something that is a necessary part of having to move in the first place!
James mSo when we went to hook up the trailer one tire had zero tread I’ve never seen a tire this bald my whole life. I said man this tire is bald he responded we can’t change tire you have to call the road side assistance if it blows out given my wife and 3 young kids are pulling this 4x8 but we were out of time and had to drive from TX to KY the next morning. It was ok till we hit the rain and the trailer was going all over the place so it added about 3-4 hours on our trip witch was supposed to be 13 hours. When I turned it in I told the lady and she was very concerned and schedule maintenance for the tire. But the location and personnel were horrible and so was the trailer i have pictures if you want to see but literally it could have risked someone’s life plus the tags on the trailer expired on march of 2022 5 months ago. Michael TThere is no uhaul office here. Just drop the truck , lock it up and put key in orange box. Twice a guy has come out of Adams Surplus and said “ you bringing us a truck, we’ll I will check it in for you” He doesn’t ask my name or if everything was okay with the truck or anything. So their service leaves a little to be desired.

Estrella PWould like to see the 4 items, two trucks and two auto transports in one email and one receipt, because all the emails and all the texts being individual makes it very hard to find what you are needing to reference when looking at it on a phone. Most people moving would be down to a phone size screen to reference things since no house internet to get on a computer or iPad. Also the whole process for pickup was very confusing. The locations changed last minute on two of the items for pickups. And the address for Adams Surplus with in the Uhaul confirmation email when you touch the address it takes you to the wrong location in the phone maps. The phone needs 6360 SH 19 N. To be how it is programmed for maps any other way takes you the wrong place. Took a phone call to confirm and get directions. Not able to find this out until the location was closed and so late turn in of the one truck and auto transport, causing a day late charge

BRUCE GThere was a bearing problem with a wheel. Truck wasn’t clean. Furniture pads were not clean or in plastic bags. Had to wait for computer to find order. Didn’t have car transport paperwork in computer.

billy bWasn't explained anything ,told the man I needed it for 24 hours and he put 6 house so I had to call and get that fixed. Wasn't given any paperwork. Wasn't told what my card would be charged ,had to pull it up on my bank statement. Or wait on email to tell me anything. Then was handed keys and told to find the truck, by number on key. Took me a good 5 minutes to find the number on the truck to match it up. Had the attitude of someone who is just having to deal with another uhaul customer, and the lady sitting next to him never once looked up from her computer.
