Equipment was clean and appeared to have new tires but the passenger side rear kept going flat.

DAVID NI was impressed by the professionalism and helpfulness of all the personnel from U-Haul (the mail office over the phone, the American Family Insurance office in Kirksville, and the La Plata Lumber office). They solved all problems that occurred and provided all necessary information and support. Excellent service. They made unexpected issues a lot easier to work through and handle.
ENRIQUE PLocation staff were friendly and accommodating when we returned the truck. There was ice on the parking lot in the morning which made walking difficult. Our pickup was scheduled for 7 am. We arrived at 6:50 am. Began to on-line check-out process at 7 am. We had already installed the U-Haul app on both of our phones. After more than an hour and 15 minutes and 3 calls to the Springfield U-Haul office, we were able to access the truck. The lock box with the key was frozen and did not open for some time. The U-Haul app was slow, unwieldy, and just stopped working several times. Indeed it greatly hindered and impeded the process. It is in need of significant improvement. Not sure that we will ever patronize U-Haul again.
James JAdam was polite and helpful. He was able to help me navigate the unexpected questions of final address, trying to add an authorized driver, etc.
Kate MEverything about the truck and the dealer was just fine except--I was told the gas tank was half full and that I needed to return it half full. It actually read about 3/8 full when we left the U-haul site and I had to add 4 gallons to get it up to 1/2 full after driving just 10 miles. But the cost of using the truck was cheaper than the delivery cost from the store so I still came out ahead.
Debra WWas clean but Tire was low and check engine light on. Only 1/4 tank gas. Process took too long. Would recommend because not too many choices in town.

Yuriy GThe tire pressure sensor was on - so at first I thought I wasn't going to be able to see the odo and get going; I'm glad I figured out how to press the check mark to see the odo to record the miles and get going. Still, this could have been a major wrench for another person who wasn't able to figure it out in the moment.

HAROLD SVery easy and fast. The dealer went and got a truck for me from another location the night before to make sure what I needed was ready for my move. Very much appreciated. Definitely will rent from Adam Mercer again.

Jairus BI was quoted $54 online, which included an appliance dolly. I was charged $75 by one dealer and had to pay the uhaul down the street $10 for a dolly. Truck was dangerous and dirty. Oh, and had to give a third reference in case I stole the truck… this 7 weeks after I spent well over $700 renting a 24' truck from you and drove it up from Arkansas. Called uhaul and was on hold half an hour without anyone answering. Tried to chat online and no one ever responded, again after waiting a half-hour. I'm sure you'll just dump this review as well. I'll rent from Penske in the future.
Martin BThis location was nice looking, clean, and the gentleman there was nice and helpful. But our prepaid card was declined for some reason and then we had to use cash which i will never do again cus now the $100 refundable security deposit, which I was told I would get back at my drop off location, I now have to wait to get my money back in a check that isn't even going to my address but my mother in law's since that was my boyfriend's billing address for the card on file. Plus since it wasn't to there standards of "clean" in the back from the rain the day of moving, we got charged $25 from our deposit. Then when I had questions on how exactly I would get my money back, the drop off location had no idea, one uhaul place I was going to had no idea and then I called the 1-800-GOUHAUL number and they didn't know so then was transferred to another person who didn't really know for sure. Over all not happy, not getting all my money back, having to wait 7 days to get it the mail that isn't even coming to me and now have no idea how I'm going to get the check from my MIL since she is now an hour and a half away. I'm not ever going to rent from uhaul again.

Cole CEasy drop off. Would suggest to Uhaul to send the drop off location sooner as it would have been dropped off at another site had I returned it in the early morning as first planned. Lucky I was delayed.
