This location only handed me the keys and said goodbye. There was no circle check to see any damage, and they did not tell me about the number of kilometres I get with a day rental, and if there are any additional charges that I will incur if I go over the daily limit.Maria P.

This U-HAUL rental was the worst experience I have ever had. I already called in my experience and I am still waiting for my discount/revised invoice regarding the per mileage discount I was given. The discount on mileage is $0.59/km. No one has contacted me regarding my revised invoice. I have contacted U-Haul 4 times, and called several times more but had to hang up due to the wait time. My original equipment was not ready at another location. Called customer service and found another truck at new location. I returned the truck with same amount of gas I found it but somehow was charged for 10 litres of gas. That is not possible as I did 38 miles added $25.Mike C.

-this location was so far out I couldn't get a cell signal out -the van shut off on me 6 times (i didn't refill it b/c I thought it would shut off on me) -i reserved in Brampton, not this location -I got a txt saying someone would call (no one ever did) -the person on the phone said they talked to me (listen next time I tell you I didn't) - THE WHOLE RENTAL WAS A DISASTER -I was inconvenienced having to go in the BUSH to pick up a van I reserved A MONTH IN ADVANCE... - THE VAN WAS NOT MAINTAINED (again, it shut off on me 6 times). Original drop off location in the contract is no longer accepting returns. That would have been good to know and the extra drive to the new location cost me money in km and gas.SEANR D.
Probably would be good to warn your customer in advance that the truck they're getting is 5 feet smaller than the one they needed. I now need to drive the rest of my stuff back and forth from Georgetown to Kitchener because I couldn't fit everything in the one trip. I was also told since I was picking the truck up in Acton, even though I requested Georgetown, that I would be given extra KM and I wasn't and ended up having to pay for going over. The man who checked me in today in Acton has no idea I was coming - I was supposed to be using truck share but I guess because I was getting the 10' truck instead of the 15' truck I couldn't - he also didn't even realise the truck he gave me was 10' and told me it was 15' "My wife usually handles all this stuff but she's not here yet" Overall fairly disappointed considering the price I paid and now I have to spend more money making multiple trips in my own vehicle to finish my move.Jenna C.

Booked appliance mover, 2 furniture dolly, and 12 blankets. none were on truck and I was informed it was ready. What was good is I received a text so I was in communication with someone. a person came and gave me the items but I only received 6 blankets and one furniture dolly. I was surprised to have to go to Acton for the truck since I thought I booked near my house at the brampton location.David W.

What you are missing here is a way to rate the Uhaul corporate experience of actually getting the inventory that has been requested. Dealing with Uhaul corporate for booking and coordination of inventory is painful at the best of times, but we just had one of the worst Uhaul experiences ever. It included - making a reservation for a trailer that was listed as available on the website, months in advance - being told 2 days before trailer pickup that the size we reserved was not available in Canada at all and that we were assigned a smaller one - we were then told the smaller one was not available and the only options were a trailer that was so big it would exceed the weight limit of our vehicle OR a trailer that was too small to fit our stuff in - I had to take on the proactivity of finding all this out and had to hand-hold or badger Uhaul corporate staff for us to get a product that would even reasonably work. The fact that Uhaul, a company who's entire purpose is to manage an inventory of trucks and trailers, is unable to know where or when its inventory will be available until 2 days prior to the requested move date, is unacceptable. Period. Get your act together. Uhaul, through the ineptitude of it's corporate staff and inability to manage it's inventory, almost jeopardized this cross-country move wherein we transported our whole life thousands of kilometres away. If it wasn't for my actions and an unnecessary amount of stress and panic on my end, we would have been stuck with all our stuff packed in boxes with no home and no ability to leave. This is frankly unbelievable, egregious, and completely unacceptable. To be clear, the staff at both the pickup and dropoff locations were great and helpful. Granted, all the painful work had been done at that point. In short, I came away with the impression that 1) Uhaul is so poorly run that I am amazed the company is still able to operate as a viable business, 2) the corporate staff is incompetent, apathetic, and generally unhelpful, and 3) we will absolutely look for alternative options for our next move. I will absolutely be spreading the word that Uhaul is woefully unorganized and a surefire way to add stress, difficulty, and anxiety to any move. Niel MacIntyreniel M.

I returned the truck Sunday afternoon and there was an employee just arriving who took the key. The blankets were in the back of the truck, all 12 of them. The fuel tank was topped up to 1/2 per my contract.wanda B.
Owner was not on property to facilitate trailer rental. Only communicated with us via text. Was not supportive or helpful. At one point he accused us of theft because they had problems authorizing our rental and would not change our tow vehicle in the system. Furthermore, having our rental switched from Milton to Action was highly inconvenient as had to drive 30 minutes in the wrong direction to pick/drop off our trailer. My reservation was put together in a timely and professional manner. This is particularly notable because it was put together on a stat holiday (Victoria Day). Equipment was clean, and well prepared. The staff was very courteous, professional and pleasant. I would highly recommend this location for future use.Steve P.

Horrible experience, they reached by sms asking me to pick up the truck in a road, to give them credit card and driver license information. Then when I spoke with Uhaul, they started giving excuses to pick up the truck later (the person who has the truck may come later, better for you to come at 10:30). I had to put my foot down and explain i was still going to be at 9am since i have a crew hired to load it and I had 7hs drive ahead and that I expected to get the truck at the time agreed; misteriously, the truck was there after i said i was going to be there at 9 When i arrive, truck was dirty, the pads and dolly were not there, when i claim for them the gentleman in the counter (who was cleaning a car when i arrived) told me: â€œthats all what i have for youâ€. Give me the key with no contract nor providing driver license or credit card information. I had to call uhaul on my way back and ask them to take my info and provide me with a contract. Horrible experience, I will never rent a truck from uhaul again and i will share this feedback in social mediaSantiago L.

The first time I booked a truck no one showed up and I had to scrabble to find a vehicle elsewhere. The second time I booked with them the truck was fine but I was over billed. I asked that there be 6 moving blankets available and they weren't there. They said go to the Hey Ray location...still no blankets so that was annoying. Then we tried United Lumber in Geordgetown and that didn't work because they said we had to bring the blankets back there and that was a lot out of the way. Very rude customer service lady, she messed up the expire date on my credit card so it was denied then sent a message stating if I don't return the truck immediately they were reporting it stolen and calling the police so I went back in and face a $200 deposit all because she typed in the wrong date then told me it's not her problem, she seemed angry with life and gave me way to much attitude to deal with on my hectic day of moving, I don't recommend using this service station at all.
