What an excellent idea, having a uhaul at a storage unit!!!! Whoever thought of this is brilliant! Manager of site (Jose) was extremely accommodating and helpful. His patience is to be admired. Although the only negative is: I feel it's unfair to charge over a dollar per mile driven...on top of having to fill the gas tank back up. It should be one or the other in my opinion. Overall experience...excellent.

Please make sure the trucks are fully serviced before renting out to customers. The brakes on the 17 foot truck I rented was not in good working condition at all the brakes on the truck was extremely terrible. I al explain to the customer service associate he seem very un interested . And started telling about previous customers that rented the same truck . That they did not have a or with the truck . Ok so why did I have a problem with the brakes very unexplainable I fill like I should have been discounted off since the brakes were really not I’m good working condition.

Nothing to complain about the drop off time. But my pick up was terrible I went to a store and they didn’t have one way truck (fine it was my fault not to check) but then they supposed to have somebody to call me whithin an hour and NOTHING happened. I had to call U-Haul for about 15 minutes later on the phone someone helped me, I found a place where I got the one way truck. The price was very expensive I don’t understand why at the end I ended up paying $123 dollars.

Online gave me an option closer to my home and then received an email from uhaul that they had changed it to this location. I was not happy i had to travel further for my rental after given an online confirmation

The truck was missing the right side wide angle mirror. It needs to be replaced to fill a significant blind spot.

Don't give a customer a quarter of a tank then have them figure out how much gas purchases to make to replenish to meet the quarter of a tank. Just fill it up when you rent it.

Facility Manager, "Armando Ganzalez" of ACO Self Storage is a scam artist. I was quoted a price over the phone of $291.50 for a 2 day rental of a 10' Uhaul truck by 800 #.. When I went into ACO storage on May 7th 8am Sat morning. Armando presented me with a bill w/ amount to be charge $333.50. When I questioned him about the difference he said it was taxes. I told him that the quote already included a 6.5% sales tax and a $5 environmental charge. Then I notice he place an unauthorized charge of Insurance coverage of $42.00. I told him I wanted that removed because I was covered by my own auto insurance. He said that I was required to have it. When I returned the truck to another location in Tampa and inquired about the Insurance premium I was told that it was not mandatory. I then called up customer service 800# and the service clerk had the $42.00 refunded back on my credit card. I really didn't appreciate being mislead by Armando Gonzalez @ Aco Self Storage.

The was one of the best where I had exception service. Usually your other locations are to busy to up sell or even provide the service of explaining info about the trucks and the adjustment and functions inside the cabs.

My pick up location was only a storage facility. The truck I picked up was the only U-haul truck there however the person I dealt with was very pleasant to deal with. I was not satisfied with the traffic dept. I had called several times and I was told the 24 pads I had ordered would be sent to the pick up site and be in the truck. I had to go to another location to pick up the pads. When calling the traffic dept with a question, they connect you to another number but never tell you they are transferring the call. Very confusing. The truck ran great, but The gas mileage was lower than the 10 mpg that was described. I have used U-Haul several times while in Florida and I recommend the 903 East Sample Rd site in Pompano Beach. They are a great team. I never had a problem using that site.
