As long as they have a truck available once get one from another U-Haul place, they were wonderful, fast, helped me find the right size lock and called another representative when they didn't have the answer to my one question! Wonderful experience!
BRIDGET BLittle mix up in checking in, but after that all went smooth and easy.
MICHAEL Zclean the vehicle - make sure everything is working (drivers seatbelt didn't retract) Was charged for 2 gallons of gas when I dropped it off with more gas than I picked it up with. Took pictures of the dash at pick up & drop off. Haven't had a chance to stop by and voice my displeasure yet

PAUL DAce Hardware was great. But your website or mobile app sucks. I have rented from U-Haul a few times and your app never works on my android phone, not even once. When renting they ask me to use the app to photograph my driver's license. It always says it "timed out" after 3 seconds. I can't even log in or sign up. I put in all my info to sign up and there is not even a " continue" button or "sign up". It just freezes. And even though I could never log in the app sent me four verification codes in a row ....with no open field to enter the access code on the app. What a mess! After multiple tries I just gave up. I suggest you people try eating your own dog food. Look it up.
tim cThe truck smells terrible of smoke and cigarette. Every minute driving was a torture. All uhaul trucks should be smoke free or atleast cleared of smoke before renting it out again.

CHARLENE AThe pick up place is in Ace Hardware. The staff are not professional in terms of taking care of U-Haul customers. They acted like they want to get rid of me as soon as possible. Also almost every time I book a U-Haul at a legit U-Haul spot, I will receive a location adjustment on the same day to that place.
Ru WThe vehicle's air conditioning was subpar. It blew out air but was not cold. It made for very warm travel.

MARGARET LSince this isn't a main UHAUL center there were a limited number of staff who knew how to process a reservation, pick-up, and return. The pick-up and return took a lot of time mostly due to iPad server issues. With more lead time I would have gone to a UHAUL center.

Harsha KI reserved a 20' truck at this location, and specifically did in person pick up because I know the online pick up is a nightmare. The day before my pick up, I get an email it was automatically switched to online pick up. The pick up online took literally over 30 minutes to go through everything. I finally get the code to open my key box, and no key! So I had to go inside and to my surprise there was someone there for u-haul. Which if someone was actually there, why was my in person pick up switched to online? I had to deal with him for about another 30 minutes, he thought the truck wasn't even on the property, when I had seen and verified the number on the truck. Finally get all set, I open the truck and the back was FILTHY! I know u-haul charges for not cleaning out the back, but clearly u-haul didn't clean it either. I was at the u-haul place over an hour, and was already in a hurry so I just left. Returning it was also long but that's because the online check in is a joke. Then I get charged more then I was supposed, and I have reached out twice via email, to an email I was sent with my receipt. It says contact us if you had an issues or questions. Been almost 2 weeks and haven't heard a damn thing, BIG SURPRISE! Never ever using this location again. They just shouldn't even have u-hauls. Terrible experience.

HELEN WWas charged a fuel charge. Drive 23 miles, and put a gallon and 1/2 in tank before returning at gas station next to store. Called customer service. They had no pictures of a ful tank before and I didn my have one of after. Not happy to get a $35 extra charge when I put gas in that vehicle before returning
Dan HTwo problems. Truck did not have a tow hitch. I had to rectify the issue myself by stopping at uhaul Verona Rd. Kudos to Verona Rd for quick service. Secondly uhaul online automation really sucks. It is supposed to send lock box code - did not. I hear that happens all the time. Way too many requests for pictures and making the customer do the work. This was my experience on checkout and check-in

Mary KThe only issue I have is when my son went to pick up the equipment, he got delayed by an hour due to a computer not working and extra phone calls that needed to be made. Outside of that, everyone was helpful. It was a good central location for him to pick up the equipment and return it.
Tyler PThis is a mobile pick up only site. I struggled getting the lock open to retrieve my key and no one was there to help. The dolly and blankets I ordered were not in the van, and there was no one there to help. The employee of the hardware store was very kind, but there was nothing she could do for me. I ended up leaving an hour after I planned because of these problems.

Sandra MTwo differ quotes. Personal could not answer a simple question about the rental. Contract states different rental amount and mileage amount. Uhaul customer service treated me like I was an idiot. Stopped at a stop sign while driving the truck and garbage including alcoholic bottles flew out from under the seat. Wrong mileage I was charged for. I was blown off and will never use uhaul again nor go into and spend my money at that ace hardware! Extremely disappointed.

Steve GWent to pick up trailer in Mazomanie, WI (where our reservation was suppose to be) and they did not have a trailer! The lady at Mazo hardware location called around and found us a trailer in Middleton which was 22 miles further away. This was not a good experience with U-Haul
