Don't charge an extra day of fees when it was not stated to us a time frame for drop off in Bartow. It was only stated that we needed to return the 4x8 enclosed trailer in October 3, 2020 no time specified. I then learn that there was an extra day charged for the trailer to set in the yard of return with multiple 4x8 enclosed trailers there. I believe this is a true disrespect for a customer and veteran to have this shady type of business practices done to. I will not recommend or use this business again with this type of activity's.

The person who runs this U-Haul location is a very kind person. He is efficient and helpful and courteous! Thanks for being here Brad! As a salesperson I guess I would recommend when asking if you need anything else for your trip, that you run through a quick list of your products available. Boxes, tape, blankets, a lock, utility cart or dolly. Also upon return maybe have a broom handy for customers to sweep out their rig! I will definitely use this location again in the near future. ~Middlebury

This store was closed at the time I dropped off the car, but the online truck return process and their key drop box made drop off very easy. They called later that day to inquire about the missing dolly and pads, and said they would follow up with our pickup location to confirm that the dolly and pads had not been provided.

This owner was very personable, efficient, clear, and helpful. Although I think it is a strange policy that the renter should fold the used blankets and sweep out the truck, I assume that is what is generally expected in this do it yourself business, so I do not hold that against him.

The gentleman who helped check in gave excellent service. He directed me to a cost savings option. When I got in the truck, he said there was not a 'hauling' option on the truck that I needed to worry about. However, there was an icon on the dash which made me look for the 'hauling' switch to turn off. So, I did. He would likely appreciate knowing this was present on the 10' box truck.

No need for improvement; I only have positive comments to make on this U-Haul Dealership. Brad Jenne, Owner, went above and beyond, even on his vacation time off. He personally ensured that we were able to successfully rent a 20-ft truck and that it was not blocked in by a return vehicle, for an important shipment of furniture with movers hired on both ends of the move.

I did not like that Brad blamed me for returning the vehicle's gas tank full and that I should have read instructions that were allegedly e-mailed to me upon picking up the vehicle which told me how many gallons to put into the gas tank. UHaul should simply ensure each tank is full for each customer at the time of pickup. It is misleading and dishonest. Who the hell is going to rent and pickup a truck, load, drive 4 hours, unload, and then read an e-mail prior to returning a truck? Bullshit.

The automated system didn't work well both because of connectivity issues and a broken camera on my part. Suggest the option to upload license photos beforehand and perhaps having guest WiFi accessibility to make up for spotty data reception.

It's not the location's fault, but U-Haul's web forms are full of bugs. If you want to have a lot of the paperwork for a rental done in advance and on-line, you really need to fix its tendency to crash.

It would have been a good idea to debug the The windshield before. Also the wipers were streaking the windshield. Might be time to replace the wipers on that truck. Other than that; no other issues.

The return process is insane. It's pitch black at night, zero cell phone service, and asinine. I had to take half a dozen pictures of things that staff would/should verify with or without pictures. I had to drop the truck off late at night, in 20 degree weather and trying to get clear photos while my exhausted wife and son were waiting in the car. I've rented from several moving truck companies in the past 3 years. UHaul is, without question, the worst of the bunch when it comes to drop off. You always require this level of "check in". The others have an envelope for the key, and ask you to write the mileage (optionally). None are as lazy and pointless as this. This is not a jab at this location. This is a jab at UHaul. The location doesn't dictate corporate policy. UHaul corporate is being lazy.

When I moved to Middlebury, I found that I hadn’t downsized enogh. The staff we great in informing me of options, providing internet access, and help with a padlock. Good people to work with.
