The uhaul was in poor shape, the lights didn't work, one of the tires had wires showing through already. We had to take it somewhere to get the tire fixed. And still have not been credited. Overall pretty poor.

The trailer was not safety checked before I picked it up and about half a day into my 3 day trip across Canada, the last of the axel springs snapped and blew the tire on the Trans Canada hiway, leaving stranded in the middle of nowhere. Thank god I purchased the travel insurance and roadside assist.

I would say service was good and friendly, at this Yorkton location, with my first time experience there. I would definitely recommend it to anyone needing a smaller trailer to rent for a day. I think the rates seemed fair and reasonable, in these times, when things are high priced, for the size of each trailer. I don't rent too often, but the sizes they have fit my needs nicely, for the smaller vehicle I have to tow with. It was easy to book a rental for the next day. The trailer I was given seemed to be in nice shape, Ryan did the paperwork, he helped me hook it up, we checked all the lights to make sure they worked before I left, I gave him an approximate time that I would have it back, and was on my way. ... thank you

Uhaul customer service is second to none. A&S in yorkton and the drop of point in West Kelowna were competent, friendly and helpful. 10/10 The truck ran well and was amazing! but the previous user or users had left it a bit dirty and dented and the drivers right rear tires had nails in them. Your service fixed fast and easily so everything is 10/10 except the condition I received the truck in. Thank you for this service!

The trailer was dirty electric wires covered in mud I had to ask for a nether one I asked to pick up in Regina Had to go to Yorkton I asked to drop it off in Salmon Arm BC they sand me to Chilliwack BC 500 km from my drop of place

The location wasn't the problem it was uhaul its self i ordered a 20 ft and ended up with a 10 ft and had to do 3 trips what cost me $220 in gas and two x the time. Also I was told I had 1000klm and now I've been charged $45 for extra KLM what really was not fair cos if I had got the bigger unit in the first place I wouldn't have needed to drive extra. Not very happy with the service given by uhaul..really I should only pay half for my rental!!!! I would like a refund of some kind

No one checked physically that the unit is ok with no damage when I returned it back. I know that everything is ok but Uhaul needs to confirm that as well at the spot

The truck was filthy dirty with garbage left in it and it smelled extremely strongly of cigarette smoke. The outside was also dirty and caked with dead bugs. When we called to rectify the problem we were told to just clean it ourselves and when trying to go through the complaints department we either could not get help and we're shuffled around to different people or were ignored completely. Moving is stressful enough without paying to be treated like garbage. This was the worst experience we have ever had with a company and hope that no one else ever has to go through this. We waited to hear from someone who was willing to address our issues, however because this did not happen we will now be contacting the Better Business Bureau to see if they can help us.

I reserve a 26 ft truck a few weeks before departure and had a very good conversation with the agent . I reserved 2 moving dollies 2 and 1/2 dozen moving blankets and a moving dolly. Three days prior to move I called and was told this location did not rent blankets or dollies! I made other arrangements but had not called I would have been unable to load for my move. The truck was clean on the exterior. I selected the truck from 2 or 3 that they had on site. I did not go into the cab prior to getting contract. Just peeked in the window to make sure it had cruise control which I had requested weeks earlier and was told could not be guaranteed. Had cruise looked clean so in I go to get paperwork. I left site drove 4 blocks to my office the contents of whichI was moving. Loaded truck. Start to head off-road the gas station prior to hitting the highway and note the fuel is just a hair over 1/4. Contract says 3/8. Now fully loaded truck and after business hours . I took a picture dated that day but have only my word to prove that I am roughly 40 dollars short of the starting fuel. Not wanting to get into a hassle or delay on returning the truck in Vancouver I put in the extra gas. Head out on the hiway. Interior and exterior window dirty. Truck interior has obviously not been cleaned and has a funny smellâ€" I think someone has been sick in truck and threw-up. As a doctor and in this time of COVID I am not happy but on a schedule so 320 km before I can stop for the night at my primary home. The next day I decide to get to the bottom of the smell and clean cab. Windows, interior,disinfectants , vacuum. I fold the centre seat down and open its bottom storage compartment to find dried vomit.? iayer that I vacuum most of and remove rest with disinfect wipes. Now suspicious that the truck was not checked prior to my renting I hinge open the hood. I have to drive half way across Canada and thought the mountains and don't want any mechanical trouble. The first thing I see is a robins nest with 2 eggs. The nest is 6 inches round and 6 inches high! Windshield fluid 1/2 empty. Engine obviously not checked. Remove nest fill windshield tank. Now several hours behind shedule and can finally leave again. The truck ran perfectly (only 20,274 mile on it when I picked it up). I would hope to hear from U-haul with a refund of a few dollars for the fuel and perhaps for cleaning the the truck. Lesson learned no mater what insist on getting in truck and checking before agreeing to contract.

I arrived 12 minutes early, however, there was no one in the office except for a young lady. I advised her that I was there to pickup a 6x12 Cargo trailer. She asked for my name and found my reservation. Once she gave me my receipt I asked which trailer I was to take? She simply pointed to the yard. I found my trailer and both sets of wheels were in a deep depression. There was no jack to lift the hitch and the wiring harness had a broken brown wire. I returned to the office to find the young lady there as well as two male gentleman. One in coveralls in front of the counter and one behind the counter. I explained the issue with the wiring harness and the gentleman behind the counter reached behind the counter he was sitting at and threw up a wiring harness on the counter but said nothing!!!! The other gentleman muttered something about the brown wiring being the trailer lights and how to connect The harness. NO ONE offered to assist my wife and myself in anyway shape or form to connect the new harness or hookup the trailer, or make sure everything was in working order. The worst customer service I've had in a long time. This place and staff shouldn't be involved in customer service. Take the UHAUL rental business away from this place, as they obviously don't want it or care about people.

Disappointed that no one was following government guidelines during a pandemic. It is a public place and no one had masks on and there was no screen or anything to protect anybody From Covid I found it very non-professional

We paid on a Friday, ended up dealing with medical things so went to pick up Trailer Saturday morning (all paid for the day before) trailer not there and after 1.5 hours on hold we were told if we wanted to drive 2.5 hours to Regina to get one we could but if not it be Monday morning as the yorkton depot is closed Saturday's and sundays with no emergency after hour help available. Will NEVER use uhaul again. FIRST AND LAST TIME!!

The back end was dirty and had something in it from the last customer, there was ice all over the ramp and the back bumper, and the gas tank was on empty. Thank goodness I checked before we went to move.

Guy who helped me out was the most knowledgeable/helpful person from uhaul I've ever dealt with. Was nice of him to come out and put the trailer on the truck for me in -35C weather. Even when I said I could handle it.

The cab smelled like dirty feet but was clean looking. When I made my reservation online I ordered a dolly and when I showed up for pickup one was not available to me. Also they are cash or credit only which I think should of been stated after you placed ur order. Over all not happy with the experience

I was not happy when I returned the truck and was charged an extra 171.00 for mileage because the truck was in miles/ klms...I was quoted a price .I paid that.. then the extra.i was charged.I was never informed about that plus we are in Canada and we are klms..I am considering putting a complaint in..You should inform your customers about it..

my experince was the worst i booked to truck and trailer to move to alberta 1 month before i was to leave i called as transport about a week out from departure date and they said all is well truck and trailer booked should be ok 3 days before a lady calls and says they only have 1 of the 2 things i needed which i had booked the truck they DONT have only have trailer this WAS A BIG DEAL to us as house sold had to be in st albert by a certain date and we needed the bigger truck to hold our belongings the lady said sorry she could give us a 20 ft truck no 26 ft truck i called here back and said 20 ft wont work we need 26 ft and asked if there was any in area she said 1 in kelliher i could pick up i asked if they would bring it here she said no i said i need it then she called back said there was no truck in kelliher eventually to make a long story short my wife had to drive me into regina to pick up 26 ft truck and we drove back with our car and truck the uhaul lady said she would give us tthe 26 ft truck for 20 ft price which was nice and and extra mileage to cover trip from regina with truck she also said she would give me a 50.00 dollar reservation fee back but never got it also she never compensated our gas to and from regina with our car and the gas the truck burnt driving 110 miles at 8 mpg to end this off it was a crappy experience . i dont know what else to tell you if you want more info call me 13066213905 or email me

There were only a few problems. I needed a furniture dolly which they didn't have. Also had to switch trucks as first one when I went to put hand dolly in the back door jammed. I think all this stuff should have been checked but other than those two hiccups everything else was great. Gracias
