After hours drop off at a small location. No signs where to park, fortunately saw the keys drop off box so it worked out okay

Thomas LThe parking lot where they store them is to small. If someone doesn't no how to back up with a trailer they would not have been able to get it out.

virginia bWith the exception to the lady working the front desk, the rest of the staff was rude. God forbid a customer let someone know someone was there, after standing there several minutes, to pick up a scheduled uhaul. Location was extremely run down and in need of some repairs. When given the truck and trailer nothing was done for a walk around. One of the straps used to hold the vehicle down was frayed at pickup and ended up breaking just as I arrived at my location, thankfully.

JOHN JGetting the trailer dispatched was a PAIN. But I will give grace because it was on a Sunday. My negative comments comes from the fact that the cab was not clean at all. The cup holders were full of grime, and the floor was covered with considerable amount of dirt. At the rental facility itself I encountered challenging terrain in order to drive away with the truck.
CHARLES BWe were double charged for the rental, charged gas and mileage fees when they were not valid.

Paul DMy reservation was for 5x8 trailer in Cameron NC when I got there they told me I had to go to another location because they didn't have what I reserved, I was told someone should have called you! Well nobody called, I went to the other location and they didn't have it either, so I was charged for the larger trailer , they could have at least honored the quoted price, maybe would have covered some of the gas to go get it and drop it off at the other location

SHARON ICustomer service over the phone was lacking from 1-800 uhaul. On hold forever, 30 minutes each time times 5 times, then got hung up on.

Mark PI specifically placed an order for contactless pickup. I had previously been unble to get a truck the day before due to n employee moving the truck we were about to ent without a mask do I needed this one. When I did the check in the app said I needed to go inside to get my key. I attempted to flag down an employee from the parking lot but ended up having to go into the tiny, not well-ventilated lobby where absolutely no one was wearing a mask. The manager also seemed rude andbdiinterested when my wife called to explain that our son is high risk and I needed to avoid any possible exposure. For improvement: next time actually prepare the truck for contactless pickup the way it's supposed to be and all of this could have been avoided.

JoAnn MTo go 24 miles one way and 24 back to uhaul. Will cost you $105 better to go to home depot and rent the trucks they have there. They will say its 19.95 a day then charges 39.95 and throw on 20 to 30 dollars of hidden fees. Beware

Philip RWhen I dropped off my truck, 30 minutes before it was due, I didn't realize I was supposed to log into the system. They didn't tell me that they would be closed and was supposed To do anything online. I was there on time. They should have explained that I needed to do something on my phone so I didn't get charged anything.
Harold MDanny and Linda treat you like family. Everything went smoothly from check in until the time of dropping off the truck. Would highly recommend anyone moving in the Sanford, NC area to consider renting their truck from A & D Service Center.

Ross FThe 26 for truck wasn't available at the nearest locations to me so I had to dinner extra miles to get the truck inherently getting charged more for those miles that I wasn't planning on driving. Maybe delivering the truck to the location we want to pick it up at?

Anthony WStaff was great to work with -- answered all questions and was very friendly. Truck was great-- comfortable to drive and ride in, was able to drive 65-70 on interstate with full load. This was NOT the U-Haul truck I drove 30 years ago and suffered through a move. Way to go U-Haul!!
Pete BI dropped the truck off that night and there were no lights AT ALL anywhere on this property, so I could not tell it was a U-Haul place. On the 5th time passing I finally could see a small U-Haul sign. THIS LOCATION NEEDS LIGHTS ON THEIR PROPERTY TO LET YOU KNOW THEY HANDLE U-HAUL.

GW JI was directed to this location because the pick-up location I had chosen did not have a truck the size I required. When I showed up to pick it up, the A&D rep claimed she had no knowledge of my reservation because she "had not checked her system". It took her over 10 minutes to locate it, mainly because she took no less than five phone calls as I stood there waiting for her to talk her way through each conversation, but finally I received the truck and equipment I had requested. When I arrived to drop the truck back off, the A&D rep could not find my reservation in the system. It took him over 20 minutes, not to mention taking a couple phone calls as well, to find my reservation and close my out as the wife and I stood waiting.
Kevin JDon't have any suggestions for improvement, everything went smoothly. Owner helped us hook up and both check-out and checking the trailer back in were fast and easy. Rental facility is located right on Hwy. 87 and very easy to get to and in and out of. Will definitely use this place again!!
Jacqueline sI was supposed to pick up at 2701 S. Horner Blvd, Sanford, but less than 24 hours before the pick up (on a Sunday), you changed the size of the truck and the pick-up location. This was VERY inconvenient because I was staying near the original location and had no way to get to the new place. I don't appreciate the last minute notification. When I asked if you could bring the truck to the original location, you refused. The truck was too big, and the pick up location was not good.
Walter GLinda was amazing! I'd been having a horrible day, getting stuck on foot when renting a car fell through. I called a U-Haul location in town, and they found a truck for me about five miles away at A&D, but they said they weren't able to give me a ride there - even though I'd be walking right by their location. With a few miles still to go, I called A&D to confirm the location. Linda found out I was on foot and not only came to pick me up, but handed me a much appreciated bottle of water when I got in the car. She and the others at A&D truly went above and beyond for me, and I would recommend them any day!
