Edward NThe wipers were bad. The truck stunk bad of animal urine and poop. I had to put two new air fresheners in there to be able to drive. Whatever the animal I was allergic too as eyes got goopy and some breathing issues. You could see the pee and poop on floor.
Evelyn BIt’s an old gas station w/ a lot of sketchy customers. We had to keep checking on our car while we were inside. Did not feel safe at all.
Doug CU-haul showed this location having the 5x9 trailer i needed and charged me 57 dollars.. my local u-haul had three of these trailers but the u-haul website said they did not have any local.. if your website was right I could have gotten it local for 27 dollars. Your ripped me off and double charged me because your website info is incorrect.
Chris HYa'll need to train the people at the A&D food market. I reserved the trailer on Wednesday, I did the online checkout on Friday. Saturday morning, I get there, with my printed receipt, and she tried to print a new contract, missed the fact that I had paid for the trailer, furniture pads, furniture Dolly and utility dolly already. It took an hour and a half to get hooked up and I had already paid for it. The furniture pads were pulled out individually from a storage unit, not clean or bagged. He didn't know the difference between a furniture Dolly and an appliance Dolly. On July 21st, I had reserved a trailer and was sent to this place. He said Uhaul equipment down. "No UHAUL BUSINESS TODAY" I had to go to Boiling Springs, NC to get a trailer and haul it back to Gaffney, SC to start moving. Totally unacceptable
Robert JWas told 7/8 tank of fuel at pickup location and needed that amount at drop off but when we dropped off with 7/8 we were charged because drop off location said it must be full.
Arthur SDrink holder was broken and under the seat. As I was driving it worked it’s way under foot. Not a safe place!
Dan AI was overcharged for mileage and fuel. When I left there the mileage was different than what he put down and he refused to come out to the truck and check it back in. While I was still standing there. He said he was too busy and unfortunately I had other things I had to do and I couldn't wait there for 40 minutes for him to come out and check the truck back in and then you guys let him charge me $104 for 4 hours and I will never use you all again
August ZThis is the place we initially came to for our first experience with u-haul. It was awful. We reserved for 9 AM but the place didn’t open until 10:10 AM. The person we came in contact with at first was extremely rude and said he could not help me with my reservation and that his boss would have to do it but his boss was out of town. This made no sense considering we made this reservation for 9 am that day. I asked if we could call his boss and he said no, he’s out of town and never once looked at me as he was speaking at me. I walked out and I was leaving, a man stopped me and asked if I had a reservation. I said yes and he said you’re lucky because I was about to go out of town. I told him that it made no sense that people were able to make reservations for that location if he weren’t in town. I asked what happened if he weren’t in town or available and he shrugged his shoulders. We finally got the truck and it was nice. Nothing to complain about with it.
Celeste CHe just took key and didn’t check anything but then noticed I got charged $19 and don’t know the reason why I had enough gas in truck and if it was something I didn’t do he should’ve told me will never rent from haul again very unorganized
RICHARD MVery efficient and was timely provided with two dollies. Had ordered 10 blankets which were unavailable but not needed after all.

Latoya PVery confusing and small location. There was no drop box on the outside along with inaccurate instructions on how to return the truck. The owner of the store did not speak English well. There was also homeless people right in front of the store at the door. Very uncomfortable environment. Was not very pleasant at all. My business will be done with Penske moving forward
