When I arrived for mobile pick up the truck I was picking up was blocked in from the front back and right side. I called customer service and waited on the phone over 20 mins to speak to someone before I gave up and inch my way out of the spot little by little and was forced to drive on grass and over a curb. Customer service time for 24/7 pickup is not adequate. I didn’t get my truck until 30 mins after my pickup time and was late to where I needed to be.

This location (AMMCO) did a great job and provided a positive experience. However, the U-Haul online experience was lacking. I was pleasantly surprised to be able to find a 9-foot cargo van available in the area. I arrived at the preferred pick-up location listed on the reservation (Gap Self Storage in Gap, PA) to find out that not only did they NOT have the van available, they don't even handle that type of vehicle in their fleet. Catrina, the staff on duty at Gap Self Storage, was very accommodating. She took the time to trace the reservation and to engage the regional manager. They determined that a van was reserved but at the AAMCO location in Lancaster, PA. Catrina called AMMCO to make sure the location was open and that the van was really available. They were and it was. I was able to get to AMMCO just before their Noon closing. If Catrina had not called when she did, AMMCO was going to close early so the staff could attend a funeral. The reservation EMail noted: "A U-Haul representative will contact you to schedule you at the most convenient agreed upon location with available equipment." No one ever called.

Tried to charge us for damage that we did not do. You could tell that the scratches were very old. Previous pick up location did not mark the damages. He called main office and they waived it. Thank you

The people at the store were friendly, they explained things clearly, and they explained the after hours drop process, making sure I knew where the keys and contract were to be dropped with paperwork filled out appropriately.

The owner of this business lied about the mileage that I put on the vehicle in order to obtain fraudulent charges. I have three witnesses that would verify we had the vehicle for a brief time to pick up a crib and only put 19 miles on it. I did not even have the van long enough to drive 120 miles. Will never use uhaul again and can’t believe these charges!
