Employee failed to put key in lock box there by delaying my ability to take possession of truck until more than 3 hours after reservation time. I made reservations at 1 hual then everything was ok then 10 mins later u didnt have the truck for the day your company reserved for me. So I went to another mail n more place that's has u haul but he was 30 mins late and kinda rudeRICKY T.

I was told if I return the vehicle with gas in excess of the pick up level, I will be given a credit. I returned the vehicle with more than 1/4 tank in excess and the promise was not honored. I think it is not right if the customer gets charge for returning the vehicle with less than the level it was pick up and then U haul takes the customer's money if customer returns the vehicle with excess gas. With all fairness, this policy must go both ways. I will be leading an online campaign against for this predatory practice of Uhaul. 2. Prior to visiting this location, I went to Santa Clarita U-haul location, two things happened that I did not understand. a. The attendant requested for my ID, took photograph of me and then requested for two phone numbers b. She told me I needed to return the truck to the same location. I cannot drop it off in any other location. I have been told by other location that this is not a normal Uhaul practice. I need some explanation on the how I was treated at the Santa Clarita Uhaul location in the Sierra Hwy. Very bad experiences.Isaac O.

The equioment ws wemaintained and cean. Becuse of this i mde an extra eort to ensure tht the cab and bed of the truck was immcualte when I dropped the truck off at the drop box. Yet when I reviewed the invoice I was charged an additinal $15 for cleaning. Totally unfair. Pease do not reffer ....poor customer service.Keith B.
I am very dissatisfied. First off the guy didnt even come out to check the truck before we left. While leaving the parking lot we noticed the gas light was on so went back in to tell him and he came out and said theyd been having problems with people stealing gas from the trucks so he changed the contract to where we could bring it back empty. Went straight to gas station and put 7 bucks in. Drove a couple miles and ran out of gas on side of road (we just figured it was super empty). Had someone bring me gas then put 45 in it at gas station. Drove another 17 miles, parked, and noticed the gas just pouring down the driveway. THEN noticed the hole drilled in the tank. Uhaul called roadside and picked up the truck. We didnt finish using it..only had it for about 3 hours but did not want another truck they offered. Just a refund. We put about 50 in gas and paid 69 for the truck. Jose, field manager, was such a dick and said he would only give us 30 back because (in his words) "it was obvious there was a problem with the gas you shouldnt have put more gas in it" WTF obvious???! So were calling corporate. This is b.s. and a serious safety issue. What if i had my daughter with me and it caught fire? Totally unacceptable. Theyre regular maintenance checks or policies should be followed properly or even more frequently due to this gas stealing problem.raymone H.

I am personally 100% disappointed with this location I should've read the reviews upon choosing this location because they all said the same thing I drove the truck 7 miles and put gas in it before I returned it and they are somehow saying they needed to put 4 gallons of gas in to get it back to where it was which is physically impossible considering I only drove 7 miles which they did check and are able to see I will be calling the corporate offices this seems very shady. The truck itself was nice and the process was easy but the fact of getting charged an additional $47 for gas is absurd.SABRINA C.

I was upset due to the Fuel cituation. There was no gas in truck but the paperwork stated it was. So the tentand stated I could go get gas and bring back on Empty so i went put $25 in the truck but when I drove off heading home the Fuel light came back on so I had to drive to another gas station only to put another $25 total of $50 Ã¨in gas before I even used the truck because of the big Error, not on my part the truck stated it had gas when it didn't. the attendant gas must have been stolen over night. So I returned the truck when I was done. Now truck has a quarter of tank when returned. Now the paper showing fuel wasn't corrected that it was below Empty when I drove off to the fas station the attendant sent me to because there were no more available trucks. I was charged $52 for the rental plus $50 in gas total of $102.00 for a 4 hour use of a 19.99 U-haul rental.CHAQUELA M.

This mailbox store was staffed by extremely rude and unhelpful people who made a terrible experience even worse, telling me I was taking up too much of their time, and even yelling at me to get out of their store! I had to contact the area General Manager to get them to deliver the truck I had already reserved and paid for online! They wanted to charge me all over again! The truck had about 1/4 tank, even though they reported it as having a half tank (I had photo evidence and had texted it to the GM), and there was a bunch of cigarette ash in the ashtray, too.NEIL C.

First off I had a reservation, come to find out they don't have it available when I tried to pick it up. Then they told me they can get me the truck I need only if I can personally give them a ride to another U-Haul dealership on the other side of town. When I finally got it, they never removed a lock from the back and didn't have any keys to open it, so (with their permission) I had to break the lock myself. The guy claimed he would get me a discount for my troubles, but then had a BS excuse that he couldn't get it for me. I will never use U-Haul ever again.CODY A.
