When I reserved the truck, I was told I could pick it up in Spokane Valley. The day before, I got a call saying I had to come to the Francis location, which was clear across town from me. Not very convenient.Laurie V.
I had made an error when I made the reservation. Made it a one way instead of local move, I didn't realize I had made this error. I apologize that the guy working the counter I do not remember his name. He was amazing, meeting people who work out in the community are struggling with customer service. Make sure to check the fuel before you leave, there was an eighth of a tank of gas missing and the mileage was over what was on the paperwork. The back end was dirty things like Legos and hairpins were in the bed. Should have checked the back of the truck before I left the lot because the door was left open luckily I stopped at my house before getting on the freeway. By the time I made it back the engine sounded like it wanted to die.Kaleb S.

Have the fuel tank full, it had less than half of a tank. Took extra time to fill it and then I had to try and return it with the same amount of fuel it started with. Have the equipment closer to where I was. Otherwise my experience with Uhaul was fine.Kevin L.

The fuel was not even close to where the paperwork said it was when I picked it up. It's as if someone couldn't do fractions and put the line to the right of 3/4 when in fact it was to the left. It was probably only 4-5 gallons off, so I didn't complain, but that's another $13 in fuel I had to replace.Daniel H.

Staff was fast at checking me in, I ended up waiting so long outside that I hooked the trailer up myself. Clearance lights were flickering off/on the entire trip with any slight bump in the road (brakes, running lights, and signals worked initially), then about 45 min after dark, all lights went out and I was on the side of the interstate searching for the problem. Found a broken wire just behind the plug on the trailer tongue had shorted to the tongue. Had to splice and tape it to get any lights at all. An even semi-thourough inspection should have caught the problem since I found it with a flashlight on the side of the road, and now I know better than to assume a business that rents trailers checks them regularly for needed repairs. Im more upset with Uhaul than this store since who knows where they got the trailer from, but someone should be inspecting things and pulling equipment that has issues to repair or replace it.Norman C.

I was charged an extra fee for going 10 miles over the allotted amount. But both my pick up and drop off locations that I initially chose were closer to my moving places. If given what I had chosen, I would not have been charged these feesRuss C.

Maintenance the vehicles more often then every 4 months. I honestly dont know how long it has been since the vehicle was even last driven. I got the truck and it was absolutely filthy!!! This is gross and dangerous during a pandemic. I had my 7 month old and a family member with a heart condition in the truck with me. The vehicle wasn't clean, what will happen if my loved one contracted covid with her heart condition? I drove to put gas in the vehicle and the cap wasn't even on. I had to go over 700 miles with the truck, the first half of my trip was the worst and most terrifying experience I have had. While driving along a mountain pass it started to rain very heavily. I live in Washington and the rain can get dangerous on the road. My windshield wipers didnt work. The one side was falling off and the other speared water instead of removing it. I was going 65 on a busy mountain pass with bigger vehicles and faster vehicles then me and I couldn't see anything. It almost caused us to rear end someone because I was literally blind. To top that off the cab of the truck started leaking water all over my belongings and my 7 month old baby!!!! I called the place I rented the truck from and the customer service and the complete lack of empathy for my situation was appalling. It was not taken serious enough. When I returned the truck the gentleman gave me what he considered a discount. He charged me for 1 day of use instead of 3, even though I did bring the truck back a day earlier then my reservation. He then gave me 200 off. That is a slap in my face for what my loved ones and I had to go through. I spent more money in gas then what he thought was sufficient. This was a very expensive trip and should not have gone the way that it did. I WILL be recieving a full refund one way or the other.Kadeaince S.

Fuel level when checked out was exactly 1/4 tank less than reported on the paperwork. I did not notice this until well after I left, so I did not get this resolved. As I did not have proof, i did not attempt resolutionTorey A.
The inside of cargo trailer was exceptionally dirty and smelled. I assumed it clean and was appalled at the end where I was picking up a sofa with nothing available to clean it up first resulting in a cleaning and hopefully getting it clean now it's here.Gladys V.

2nd uhaul rental in two weeks. Last time I called for a drop off location and took it where I was directed. They tried to refuse me because their lot was full. This weekend I again called for a drop of location. I was sent somewhere else, completely different place. Again they tried to refuse me because their lot was full. 2nd weekend in a row I did exactly as directed and had to argue to be allowed to drop the truck off instead of driving all over town to try and drop it off somewhere else. Not enthused with Uhaul and their local dealers right now. I paid good money, returned them tanked up, cleaned out and was pleasant. And both times I dealt with attitude and had issues. If their lots are that full they need to solve the problem instead of pushing the solution off on the customer.Kaitlin E.
