Equipment had tire pressure light on and the staff seemed unconcerned. Said “call the 800 number if something happens”. Really ??!!! How is it ok to put a vehicle on the road like that ??!!! I was in a bind and had to take it. Staff was not friendly or personable. Didn’t even try to offer a solution to the tire pressure issue. Would definitely not recommend nor revisit

The location was not big enough to hold all of the U-Haul trucks they had at the location. More than half of the trucks were located at an abandoned lot, several blocks away. I had to cross a busy four lane road without a cross-walk insight to get find the truck assigned to me. Since the key was located the actual location I had to cross the road 4 times. Then I had ordered a dolly and it wasn't in the truck and since I was picking up the truck before the location opened, I had no way of getting the dolly.

Susan treated me graciously and with good humor when I visited to rent a truck. The office was small and a bit out of the way, but that meant there was no standing in line. I highly recommend this place to do rental business.

Over charge I pick the uhaul up at 10:53 n brought it bk at 10:27 she charged me a extra day for being 30 minutes late cause she claim she had some one else tryin to get it plus charge me fuel n I put the gas bk in there

Since our mother passed in October, we will all be using uhaul for our needs. My latest rental was more than expected for the requirement! It handled beautifullly and only used 8 gallons of gas!! My sister Linda Stapleton has just reserved a truck in Tuscaloosa going back to Florida, I trust that will also be wonderful experience. Thank y’all so much. I will be reserving another truck probably next week to finish up my portion of the furnishings. Again, thanx for the last 35 years of great service

The fact that I specified with the woman at the front desk that I would only need the unit until the first week of August but had to pay for the entire month is absurd. No other unit does that.

I explained my situation about the missing paperwork from my uhaul pickup to the staff but she did not seem to care. Was only concerned about charging me for the difference in gas.

The person on the counter never told me that only first 65 miles was free and then additional charges apply when I got the uhaul. That is just a bad business practice not to be upfront and explain all this to the consumer. Nobody has time to read all the little details in the contract. It is up to Uhaul representative to explain all the basic important aspects of the contract. So not impressed at all. I would like the extra mileage amount to be reimbursed.

Great price. The customer service rep was great with helping me find the vehicle that best suited my needs. I was in an emergency situation and was able to have a moving vehicle in an hour's time!! Great experience. Will refer others and will use again

My initial reservation location told me the day before they didn't have my 17 foot truck but could go 45 miles in a different location. I opted to pick up a truck on my 7 hour drive 100 miles from where I was to load up. I then had to pay for extra miles and 200 miles of gas. I felt like I should not have to pay for that, my reservation was made 4 weeks earlier.

Truck was dirty in the cabin area as well as the back. We asked the clerk to clean out the back but the cabin had potato chip pieces in the cup holder as well as the floor which we cleaned out ourselves. Also, the trailer which was ordered two weeks before travel was noted as stolen a month before. Which begs the question, why was I sent to this location to pick it up? We ended up going to a different dealer on Skyland Blvd to get the trailer and our car strapped on. The car it turns out was not strapped on properly. We had stopped in Kansas City to have the engine checked out because it was making funny noises. Turns out the trailer was improperly attached. Joe's Garage fixed the problem and also reattached the straps holding the car in place on the trailer. Joe and his team were very helpful.

Don't tell a customer that it takes 6 gallons to get a tank from 1/2 full to 3/4 full. We spent more money than necessary just so they could get more gas out of us. Lady says it's not their fault because it's an "estimate". Well when it takes 3 gallons instead of 6 gallons, that's a pretty awful estimate. They won't reimburse you if you go over even though they told you wrong. Terrible customer service!

My original reservation was for a 26' truck to be picked up at 8 am on 8/4. I wasn't told until the day of that my preferred location didn't have the truck I needed at the time I requested so my reservation was moved to another location & they didn't open until 10 am.

The manager/owner did not appear like she knew how to use the computer very well and had to call the regional manager for even small changes to my reservation. When I got into the truck, there was 16 miles more than the milage that was stated on my contract, then when I looked more closely at the contract, it was writing on top of someone else contract from 3 days prior and their name and signature was just crossed out. They called the AFM Ron and he walked her through how to correct it, but even then, she just wrote a note on the contract for the place I dropped it off at to call Ron. Then when I got into the truck, it had no AC! It was over 100 degrees in Tuscaloosa that day and when I went back, she asked if if I wanted a different truck, then sent me to another location to repair it or to give me a new truck without calling them ahead and letting them know I was coming or what the situation was. Once I drove 7 miles to that location, they told me they did not do repairs and had no trucks and had no idea why I was sent to them. I was on the phone with customer service for over an hour, and they- Roxanne, Latasha Wilson, Mary and the RSA rep Celeste Collins- were all great. I then was sent 18 MILES in 5pm rush-hour traffic to a repair shop, where Luke- a very nice and helpful owner- stayed open late to repair the AC. I was there for around 2 1/2 hours, so total, I spent around 5 hours in 100 degree weather inside of u-haul garages and a body shop the day before I move just getting a truck with AC, any my wife, siblings and parents were just sitting at my home for hours waiting on me to return to coordinate the packing. By far the WORST experience I have ever had moving.

we travelled 9 hours to Tuscaloosa to move our daughter. We were surprised to find out the location opened at 10 a.m. which was very late to begin with so we made a couple loads in our car, we showed up at 11 and no one was there. There was (1) 6 x 12 sitting in the parking lot so we hooked it up and took it and called uhaul to report. the actual store called us at 1 p.m. and asked us if we were still going to pick up the uhaul ??

What you could do is not advertise that your trucks are $19.99 for in town moving when it actually ends up being around $100.

Requested pick-up from one location closest to my home, pickup location was changed 3 times within 24 hour period to another city furthest away from my home. If a particular location is requested in a timely manner, ensure equipment is at that location.
