They opened on time, right at 9 am, so that was great. I didn't think it was very clear what we needed to do to get the truck because it was behind a closed/locked gate, so we had to go inside even though we selected self service. The person at the counter wasn't very friendly, but we got the information to continue. The van was very clean. Drop off was easier than pick up.Kevin C.
We rent a lot but I've never used this location before. I would use them again as they were efficient in processing the paperwork.GARY R.
The pick up area is very small unlike other locations. The van looked like it was in a demolition derby. Scratches and dents all over. They were all marked with X's but the entire bvan could have one BIG X on it. The drivers side hub cap was broken off. The engine and air conditioning was good but it looked like crap.FRANCES O.
The woman in the office was rude and condescending. I've used this location twice before and never had this issue. I am a stickler for people who work in customer service, actually liking people and their job, but her attitude and tone of voice was despicable. I didn't even want to engage with her anymore because of how awful she made me feel asking the simplest of questions. Also, I was supposed to have a contact free rental and that did not work out as they had the van behind a locked gate, so I had to go into the office and talk to the woman, who was obviously not having a good morning. The lady behind the counter was pretty abrupt and not very friendly. The U-Haul people in Glenside, PA were far nicer and more accommodating. This lady acted like we were inconveniencing her. How hard is it to smile, act pleasant and cordial?Susan N.

The guy at the counter was pretty rude all around. When I asked how to pay tolls on the Pennsylvania Turnpike, he answered: "pay them," even though there is no way to just "pay them." I asked about an EZ pass and he acted as if there was no such thing. The van had a lot of dings, but was fine inside. They don't allow you to leave your car in their parking lot, so you have to park on the street.MARIANA S.

The man spoke so fast running down rules and info, I had to keep asking him to repeat himself. I think the truck should be moved from beyond the fence for the renter. If the location I reserved for pickup was no longer available and I have to go farther to pickup, I should not be charged the extra mileage.CHRISTINA L.
Letting them park in your lot.. I'm sorry , the gentleman was very nice, and explained everything, except when leaving he said ", you have to park your car on the street". I couldn't understand why. , I'm renting a truck from you, why are you making me park on the street, when there is never any parking available.. why can't we park in lot?, if it's due to not enough room, then have us park inside the gate when we take the truck out.. I didn't enjoy the checkout process at all. They tried to overcharge for gas even though the $4 was sufficient to refuel the tank. The van had chicken and lettuce on the floor, they clearly did not try to clean the vehicle before leasing it again. Nasty.Nyia M.

On 7/14/20 I received a notification of additional charges. Those charges we applied to my account 7/23/20. On 7/28/20 I received another such notification and on 7/30/20 these too were applied. On 8/5/20 I received another notification. I need to know why. I was told by the Mgr that my rental was for 24hrs then received a text message indicating alternate terms. Why?Anthony S.

Tried using U Haul app, it was a disaster, spent more than an hour trying to rent truck. Too many steps, too long of a wait to get confirmed. Rep. called me and gave me info and hung up before I could ask a question. Decided to cancel and come back the next day for face to face counter service.KAREN S.

Van had an odor... which permeated into what I had in the van... I tried to spray with freshener.Frederick H.
Was not given vehicle I rented; showed rep the email confirmation and she and her husband refused to give me the vehicle I rented, although there was one on site. She said that it was for someone else, and although she saw the confirmation on my email, she repeatedly said it's not her problem/this it is Uhaul's fault. Once I realized she was not going to accommodate me, I stopped to think and that is when this woman literally grabbed the keys out of my hand and said, "well I guess you don't want it, then!" I could not believe this woman actually physically accosted me! I had already hired movers so was trapped into doing business with this awful person. I have complained about this to UHaul's corporate office, but no one has helped or followed up. Supposedly there is a guarantee if you don't receive the truck rented, you will receive $50, but no one has offered this. Since I didn't get the right size that I ordered, we couldn't finish and I'm forced to rent another truck this weekend, spending more money! This is the worst experience/TERRIBLE customer service!!!Jazmine M.
