Israel VThe person that helped me with the trailer was very helpful and got me on the road very quickly...HOWEVER...I reserved a trailer to be picked up in Naples Florida at least a week prior to needing it and when I got to Naples there was no trailer and the rep said they didn't have anything...trailer or drivable and offered no solutions. Contacted the dispatcher for that region and we finally located a trailer in Auburndale Florida which is where I lived! So I had to drive over 150 miles back toward my home to pickup the trailer and drive back to Naples to load it and then back to Auburndale to unload...I'm very disappointed in the reservation process.

Orrin RThe location I ultimately picked up the trailer at was very good, I have only positive things to say about it. But let me tell you how I got there! I first went on line to find the trailer I needed. I found all the dimensions I needed except the height of the side walls on the open top trailer. I saw that they had a 5'X9' trailer at Sunrise grocery on Thornhill road, I went there and measured it myself. While there I asked the clerk on duty how I go about renting it for the next Thursday. He did not speak english and had me wait until another clerk was available. That clerk informed me to come in on Wednesday afternoon as he didn't start until then and those that worked during the day didn't speak english well enough. I then asked if I needed to reserve the trailer for Thursday. He indicated no, won't be a problem. On Wednesday, I show up at 4PM, the English speaking clerk isn't there, I was told in broken english he should be there around 5:30 to 6 PM, so I return at 6PM and am told that he left already. The trailer is still in the lot though. The clerk on duty calls him and I am told to call the Uhaul customer service number. I do that and am told that there are no 5"x9' trailers available in the area, they offer me covered trailers as alternatives, but they won't work. I ask about availability in the nearby town of Auburndale as I saw one available on line, the customer service rep said not available, So my plans are now ruined. Not to be defeated, I went on line and reserved the trailer in Auburndale, drove the 4.1 miles there and hooked up to it with help of the clerk at A1 and was on the road in about 10 minutes. The trailer was sturdy and worked well. My thoughts are that Uhaul needs a better system to know where there equipment is and when it is available or not. Users should not trust what customer service says and search for what they need themselves!
David HThe correct person was not at the location at our scheduled time to pick up. He had to be called to come in and his wife had no clue. She told me they didn't have any. I said there are two trailers out there and one of them is reserved for me.
