I expected a pleasant experience with reasonable accommodation, that never happened. Too much back and forth from this communication and no alignment on Howard when things should happen. Never using them again and sadly enough it's black owned.
Zephaniah M.They over charged me for another person who rented the truck from me & once we got that squared away, the collections department then took money out my account for the same thing. This is my second time having a horrible experience with UHaul so I won't use services again.

DOROTHY J.My right side mirror was broken. The truck shake very bad while driving. Couldn't drive over 40MPH the truck made very loud noise. The power steering pump is going out or something because it was very loud. I was given the truck on E when they told me it was gas in it. I'm just over renting from them.
NINA S.It's the place that always sale out of uhaul. They are professionals. The equipment is already cleaned and ready for use. The AC always works. I am happy to have them in my neighborhood.

Annitta B.The gas tank was below 1/4 a tank and I was told I would receive a credit for filling the tank to 1/4. I indeed put gas in the tank which was at 1/4 tank. The manager at the 83rd and Halsted (Darryl location denied the promise upon me returning the vehicle stating the gas tank was not on 1/4 and was not willing to honor anything that was promised or any other accommodation.

Gurtha S.The man in the office was very nice my contract was up at 4:30 the place closed at 4:00. They should have the same hours. When I received the truck it was dirty not clean and the window on the right side didn't work.

But wait it's more, the truck was extremely dirty it had ants in it food old McDonald cups from the last customers the engine lights was on and air pressure for the tires and window was cracked! I went back in to to tell him a d he said it was fine and that sensor was off tracked and not to worry!! So I said the $5 fee for roadside assistance should be waved he said he could do that nor did he offer a new truck he said I can get a truck from a different location

WHISPER T.I had a problem picking up a way rental. They location I set up my reservation didn't have one. He referred me to a second location that also didn't rent one-way vans. I finally gave up and call customer service that sent me to a third location. They say they were waiting since 9:30 for me. So I was never given the correct information from the beginning?

Kenneth S.I put the correct amount of gas back in the truck and was charged incorrectly. Corporate office was no help said I need to talk to manager at the location I picked the truck up from. If I knew that I had to do all this this I wouldn't have chose this location. What a waste of time and money
