Jeremy is awesome and so nice to do business with!
Scarlet HallIt was a mechanic shop which seem to not have time for a uhaul drop-off. They were working on cars. Everything else was secondary.
LAWRENCE PRICEStaff was affable and professional. Met me outside to handle the vehicle return and was done in minutes.
John CourtneyNo one was on site. However return via internet was very good.
David SnoddyThank you Jeremy for coming out on your day off to let me pick up the auto transport. I was able to get on the road as scheduled thanks to you!
David LehewU-Haul tried to send us to a different location a half hour further away. He warned us that you guys might try this. He was correct, we’re grateful that he save us all that time and driving. His truck had always been there long before we signed up to lease it, so it’s not like it just showed up.
Nicholas RufferOwner also was very friendly. Check in only took a frw minutes.
Jay MawsonI was advised by a telephone call that the reservation I initially placed a week earlier had been moved from a local vendor at 2125 Colington Road, Kill Devil Hills, NC the night before the appointed pick-up date to the above location 50 miles away in Columbia, NC. This place was unattended if not abandoned when we arrived at the appointed time. We never saw anyone. There were a few UHaul vehicles parked, including a 10' moving van, but the buildings were dilapidated and surrounded by what appeared to be junked and abandoned vehicles. Another 10' moving van was present alongside the road. It was unlocked and the key was on the driver's seat. The fuel tank was full. Assuming that was the vehicle we were to take, I called the regional UHaul traffic office to complete the transaction. I was told that it was not the vehicle I was to take. I argued that the other van on the lot was locked, had other non-UHaul vehicles blocking it, and didn't appear to have been prepared for rental. I advised the person I had on the phone that I was just going to take it. An arguement ensused until he with whom I was arguing finally talked to his manager. After being placed on hold for some time while standing in the hot sun, UHaul acquiesced. I answered a number of questions, provided I.D. and was finally on my way. You ask what you can do to improve for the next customer? 1. Get rid of 64 Tires or More as your retailer. It's a slum, broken-down location that is a bad representation for UHaul. I'll never forget it and my experience will be shared with others for some time to come. 2. Don't do practically last-minute changes to pick-up locations that are 50 miles away. You may have an explanation/excuse for doing that, but that doesn't wash with me. You shouldn't do that with anybody. YOU solve your problems.
