The process to check in online via the app was poor especially the lack of cellular service made the check out process very cumbersome and time consuming. As well, the moving supplies I asked for were not included in the rental and I had to go to another uhaul location to get only half of what i requested. In addition, that process was also time consuming and cost me time moving my items to the final destination. I would never use uhaul again because of this significant inconvenience.

John ZThe site was supposed to 4ward Thinkerz at 657 Tiffany Blvd. It was a daycare—a totally different business. I had the right address, but that couldn’t have been the name of the business. I did see the UHAUL plaque, but nothing else. I worried that I had left the truck at the wrong location especially since no one checked on the truck. I gave the key to someone. Didn’t sign anything. It took over 24 hours to know my final bill. I was told I had to wait until someone checked out the truck. The return procedure was unsettling.

DEXTER MThe box for the key was broken. The site claimed to be 24hours. I had to go back once late at night and again before work the following day to ensure that my truck key was accounted for. This is inconvenient and in considerate. I have pictures and video to indicate the malfunctioned machine.
Carlin RWe scheduled a pick up at one place and he said be there by 5. I got there at 4 and waited until 5 and no one there. He had 3 trailers. Then was sent to another location and they closed at 3 and they had 3 trailers. Then was sent to the final place and she was great and only had 1 trailer. With all the running around we didn't get home until midnight. Other 2 locations were terrible and unhelpful.

TAVIS RKemetz Howard had great customer service and management of the area, even with the covid outbreak and more people renting than ever. I would definitely recommend this location and Kemetz specifically to anyone looking to rent. I’ve had shitty experiences with Uhaul before (not this location) and Kemetz definitely turned things around.

DANA HI was told the business was open when I arrived, they were open, but I was told by employee that I had to check in on line. I had pre registered, but I had to register again. I thought I had filled out all paperwork, but had to do an application completely again while standing in the parking lot. I would have been more prepared if I was told by the initial U-Haul person what I’d have to do Upon picking up the truck. Other than that, I would rent from U-haul again.

Bianca DI had appointment for 430 i didnt get the truck till 515 and i drove 38 miles on the truck and was charged for 163.4 miles which is impossible to even drive those miles in less than 2hours and used less than 1/4 of gas when i got back with the truck to check out the truck ending miles were 57484.5 online it sd 33xxx which means they didnt enter the correct miles and she didnt go over any of that with me i only got the truck to pick up mattresses from mattress firm my route is as follows uhaul lctn 659 tiffanny blvd rocky mount nc to 794 sutters creek rocky mount nc to 7436 edwards rd castalia nc back to 659 tiffany blvd and i called her when i got there to inform her the miles fidnt match she stated she would call me the next morning she dodnt that next afternoon after 2 pm i got a email for a 152 which is wrong my ticket shld have been around $70 i was fouble charged and i want my money I need some one to contact me to assist me woth this matter
Takesha DThis rating is for U-Haul overall. They pre-charged me for 2 days and an estimated millage. I used the U-Haul only for a few hours and returned it the same day with the fuel where I got it. I actually traveled less miles than they guessed and they said I don't get a refund because that's how they work. They charge if I go over, but I don't get a refund if I don't use the millage and full two days. What a rip off. Looks like I need to look into using a different moving van company. Not very client service friendly. This is kind of a SCAM. Not happy!
