We dropped off the trailer on Saturday May 1st . Web site said open till 6 pm we got there at 5:30 pm closed called the man on the phone said just leave in lot and we will check it in on Sunday . They did not check it in until Tuesday morning at 9 am ( according to the paper work )john E.

The balding employee was rude and intimidating and tried to start a political argument based solely on the stickers on my car. In addition, I returned the truck, gassed up to the original level, before the location opened Sunday morning, and was later charged for fuel, according to the email I received. I will dispute this with my credit card company. The younger employee was nice. The office is very covid safe-limited entry, mask required etc.Catherine S.

the truck we rented needed front end service before we picked it up. Truck pulled to the left .. into traffic .. I reported it, so i hope the truck was serviced before the next person rented it.ty C.

Sadly this was not my best experience. Got there in time for my 9:30 appointment but had several others in front of me. The truck was on the back lot and was not clean. The drivers cab smelled of stale cigarette smoke and had paper in console. When rented, I was not shown any of the workings of the truck (i.e. cruise control and mirror adjustment would have both been very helpful). There was no walk around for damages, no blankets were available but was told I could drive to another location to pick up. A dolly was left in the truck that I did not rent from the location. There was a low tire (I was never told which one to be aware of) and tire pressure showed that it needed to be checked my entire trip Overall was not an experience that I as a customer would want to repeat.Lisa C.

Bad experience w u haul web site. Selected moving help and they never contacted me. Called the Corp customer service line and they were no help at all. Just wanted to set me up w someone literally 6 times as expensive. Local lot was great but would not recommend u haul movers at all. It is a bait and switch dealPaul B.

My son pulled into the lot the local rep came out and took the keys and that was it. I would have liked that I got something that the truck was dropped off within my time frame per the contract. Also would like to know that all blanket, dollies and gas was in accordance with the contract. My son got a Thanks and the local rep took the keys and my son was picked up by my wife.Gary C.
The entire drop off process without someone from Uhual is silly. I understand many aspects are to cover Uhaul in dispute, but the phone app is spotty at best and seems pointless when the company is paying an employee to go over such things when they arrive in the morning.DYLAN P.

Called and scheduled a trailer so I could pickup a refrigerator. The associate there gave me the wrong trailer, forgot the appliance dolly and didn't bother to check whether the trailer was connected properly. When I realized I didn't have the dolly I went back and picked it up. The manager came to work, realized that we had the wrong trailer and called us. By then we were almost to our pickup. We managed to get the frig in the trailer but would have been much easier with the right trailer.William D.

The vehicle had a rear brake and signal light issue. Roadside assistance did repair It, but It should not have left the lot. The cab was dirty, With food wrappers on the floor and cigarette butts and ashes in the ash tray. Previous rentals the furniture blankets were clean and in plastic bags. This was not the case with this rental. Blankets were not clean at all. I mentioned at pickup but was told that no other blankets were available.Bart M.
Make all your locations have a great guy like Robbie. This was the easiest rental I've ever done. Robbie gives good advice and makes the pick up seamlessly time efficient, which anyone in the middle of moving day will truly appreciate. Thanks UHaul.Linda S.

When we arrived to return our equipment it was obvious the person on duty didn't want to be there or help us. He told us there wasn't room on the lot to drop off (even tho it appeared there was room, the inventory just needed to be moved around) and sent us a mile down the road and told us to leave it there and someone at that site would help us. There was no one there when we arrived so we came back and the same person was very angry and told us we should've left it even tho nobody was there to check us in. We told him we didn't want to be liable for the equipment since nobody signed off on it and he told us we would need to come back and drop off the next day. We had just driven 16 hours across the US and were tired and wanted to get it turned in. My son-in -law got out of the vehicle and picked up and moved a couple other trailers and made room for ours while the employee watched. Then my son-in-law parked our trailer in the spot he made room for and unhooked the equipment himself while the employee continued to watch. I had paid cash for my rental and was supposed to receive a deposit back and the employee told me he couldn't do that because he didn't have any cash and that I was ridiculous for paying cash in the first place; I should have used a card. He told me I would need to come back the next day for my $75 deposit but he refused to sign off saying that I had not yet received my deposit back. When I returned the next day I was able to get my deposit (someone else was working) and I asked who the young man was on duty the previous night and was told it was the business owner's son!! He obviously wasn't concerned about his job status or showing any customer service skills!Kevin L.

I dropped ours off after hours, so I had no interaction with the staff. The lot was very full, but the location was great.Luke R.
I was greeted by a sign telling only one person at a time in the shop and then a second inside reminding me to practice social distancing. The interior had a plastic sheet hanging down as a conversation barrier and then makeshift combination of rope and boxes creating a physical barrier. The gentlemen working there talked to me from the other room but did not greet me. After asking my name he accompanied me outside but did not wear a mask even though I had one on. I did not know any better but probably should have picked a different store in the area, one more professional.Dean S.
Don't charge your customers surreptitiously for coverages they didn't select. The rental website goes through many screens, each trying to upsell the rental with services, coverages, addon products, etc. to the point of being totally annoying and places many opportunities to inadvertently select something that is not desired. I specifically declined EVERYTHING I was presented, yet still ended up with a nebulous $14 charge for some BS coverage. Nevermore. Lesson learned.Randall M.
