Vincent DMileage discrepancy, someone drove the truck around 50 miles and made me pay for it. I didnt take a photo of the odometer reading before taking the truck out. I got scammed because i blindly trusted Uhaul.

James PI can't believe it cost 160+ dollars to rent a Uhaul for 4 hours! $1.29 a mile? To go to a total of 100 miles? I don't think I will be using Uhaul anymore for that price.
TREVOR MAlmost too many issues to list. We requested two dozen blankets and they were not in the truck. The truck they gave us had a damaged front headlight, obviously someone at that location collided with that truck. (I even watched one of the lot employees scrape a truck against a Bollard while moving it). I had to wire the light up so it wouldn't point directly at the ground. The windshield washer did not work. This truck should never have been allowed off the lot. The tow dolly they gave us had a defective tail light and we had to go to a shop location to have it repaired, at 3900 South State street. They fixed the light, but instead of riveting it in they use screws and by the time we got to Grand Island Nebraska it had fallen out and we had to have roadside service come and replace it.
Christopher DI'd recommend friends go to a U-Haul store. I selected this location based on proximity to my home, and didn't realize it was a licensed U-Haul distributor, not an actual brick and mortar U-Haul store. The attendant that we rented from left the premises immediately after we picked up the keys and was not around to answer questions. Additionally, despite returning the vehicle at 4 pm as planned, he was not there to complete the return.

ROLDAN NWhen I dropped off the trailer 30 min after they were open and they were closed, I called the number and he asked me to take the trailer off by myself, it was really heavy. Also, the driveway was at a slant and the trailer slid backward for about 20 feet.

Jana NI had to extend 2 extra days, but they charged me for 3 extra days. That is why their personnel were not helpful.
STEPHEN BMay not have been 3d Auto Sales fault but the truck was in poor condition when we picked it up. Also, the reservation was NOT transferred to a truck share reservation so my pickup experience was pretty awful and took away too long and way too much effort on my part
Kevin MThis U-Haul dealer is a particularly tough location to get in and out of. Thank god for my towing skills, or I would have hit another trailer while towing it out of the lot. At one point there was less than an inch between the trailer I was taking, and the one next to it. The trailer was OK and decently maintained, but pretty old school with emergency chains that had rubber slip on keepers. My biggest complaint about the trailer, is I accidentally lifted my head a bit too high right by the door opening, and impaled my head into the latch bolts. The fact they aren't covered to protect us customers is horrible. I still have scabs on my head that are slowly healing.
Wayne HBasit was the best! He did not hesitate to help me out with loading my car onto the auto loader and attaching it to my 10 foot truck rental. If I ever need to use U-Haul again in this area I'm going with Basit!
AARON MI don't know if I blame it on the maintenance, but the 26 foot moving truck becomes a bucking bronco if I went close to 50 miles per hour. A trip that normally takes 3 hour took me 6. It was the most uncomfortable ride.

susana mAmazingly, people at this location apparently do not know how to use, move or unload uhaul equipment. The man i dealt with took 20+ minutes of my time because he claimed not to know how to back up truck + tow rig & so demanded i position it exactly where in the lot he wanted. I then was required to lift and remove the tow rig from the truck. Did not expect the $$$ i paid would include a requirement to do manual labor! To top it off i was charged a nice $25 "cleaning fee" even though truck was returned in perfect condition. Avoid these guys!!
Olivier BEmployee was viewing hard core porn when I came in to return the van which was extremely disturbing for me to see since the tv was in full view. Also, my receipt after service said the miles were 10 more than my before/after pictures of the mileage showed, so I was charged for 10 extra miles. This still needs to be reimbursed. I took before/after pictures of the mileage for this very reason- and I am disappointed whoever wrote up my invoice would be dishonest like that. I'd like my money back for the ten extra miles they charged me.
