Be more considerate of your customer’s needs. Please offer apologies, and not penalties if YOU change the drop-off location. According to your website, you may charge customers if they change a drop-off, you however offer no such reimbursements when you arbitrarily change the location. Bad business practices.

U-HAUL IS WAY TO EXPENSIVE, I HAD THE TRUCK FOR 2 HOURS AND DROVE 34 MILES FROM THE TIME I LEFT THE DEALER TO THE THE TIME I RETURNED TO THE DEALER AND I WAS CHARGED $73.00 DOLLARS. THIS IS SERIOUSLY A RIP OFF.

Unorganized, did not know how to properly work the computer to complete the reservation. Took way longer than it should. I’ll think twice before returning. The actual trailer I rented was fine, no problems in that aspect. Customer service was terrible.

We had to wait over an hr for the person who handles the rentals to arrive at rental site so we could make arrangements for rental.

I reserved on line with the intent up picking up truck before dealers normal hours. Had the app on my phone...when I pushed the "start pickup" button...it stated I would need to take hand delivery from the dealer when the business opened. So it ended up being a normal pick up transaction. That aspect was disappointing.

Raymond came out and offered to back my truck/trailer into a tight spot. He showed me what had been done incorrectly and how to do it properly next time. Very helpful

Long process to check out the rental, had to call my bank to authorize the charge. Poorly maintained vehicle: wheels were out of alignment, check engine light was on when I checked the vehicle out, brakes were loud and not responsive, not clean.

The front end of the transaction was smooth. Returning the truck, however, took me picking up my cell phone to call U-Haul directly to get checked in for him to check me in. I was told to leave the truck and he'll check it out when he gets to it or I can wait about 4 hours and he'll check it in then. As a client, I am financially responsible for that truck until I have the paper in hand showing there was no damage. He caught a MAJOR attitude with me because I insisted on NOT leaving the truck without it being checked in. If I did that, I could be charged an extra day or time on the truck. Someone else could've taken and driven the truck, charging the miles to me. Should anyone hit the truck or scratch it while in his parking lot or anyone else dropping off a truck hit it and not say anything to him, I can be accused of the damage with no recourse if I left without a no damage receipt. Because I pressed the issue to simply have the truck checked in before I left the property, I was told by Raymond, the owner, how he has been in business for 41 years, owns everything he has, then had the audacity to try and belittle me by saying he's worth a lot more than me... Really? He has no idea what I'm worth, nor would that be relevant to any transaction regarding renting or returning a U-Haul from his location. He later shook my hand because I stood up to him and said I like you, another guy with an attitude! After he "made amends" for his attitude, I'm further told, the people who he normally deals with are not as fair complexion as me nor as intelligent. Again, I leave !? exclamations. I'm shocked U-Haul allows him to keep trucks on his property, treating people this way. If you are ok being treated like this and working from his U-haul table which is in the candy aisle of his grocery shop, then use him. Otherwise, there are a few other U-Haul locations right up to the road who do treat people respectably such as Bryant by Golden Corral and the Truckers Toy Store up on 70. Both very professional. I can't give this location any more than 2 stars and that's only because the truck was new and clean, unlike the location. I've done nothing wrong. No issues on pick up and simply wanted to return the truck being provided a receipt for the safe return of the vehicle. If you do use, him, BE SURE TO GET A RECEIPT before you leave!!

I would suggest coming up with a better solution to the inventory issue you have with the trailer drop offs. I use Uhaul often but this last experience with dropping of my trailer was subpar. You have an issue with to much inventory of trailers in certain locations and not enough trailers in others. It seems this has been an ongoing issue at a lot of your locations but nothing has been done to fix it, and now you are trying to put that burden on your customers. You guys need a better solution.
