I am unable to use this for my health. I bought this for those who are moving my stuff. It makes sense to me on the design of the shorter the lift and the body strap using more of your legs then arms and back. This is probably a 5 star but without the use of it yet I am at a guessing decision of its ability.

What is the difference in appropriate use between this item and the Forearm Forklift Moving Straps, other than weight? I have two items which are wood and each about 4 ft. long, 19 inches deep and no more than 4 ft. high. Would the Forearm Forklift Moving straps be adequate?
Hi, Marti! The main difference is that the Forearm Forklift uses your arms, whereas the Shoulder Dolly uses your shoulders. I would say it's really about comfort level - using your shoulders vs. your arms may be more comfortable for lifting certain items. Either item will work for the items you have described. I have a 400 lb jukebox. I only have to lift it up about 5 stairs. Will these work for me and my brother? We're both 6'2" and pretty strong, but don't want to injure ourselves by attempting to lift without using straps. I think an appliance dolly would be too bumpy and possibly damage the fragile jukebox
