Looks like the 2013 Dodge charger was never meant to tow, U-hauls kits arraingement just like everyone elses is very low to the ground mere inches clearance.

I loaned my truck to a friend to tow a trailer. After he was done he left the ball on and the pin fell out )the ball stayed on). Can I buy just the pin?

I have 2 Convert-A-Ball assembly's, one for 5000 lb and the other for 8000lb but both have the same diameter top post to affix the associated balls. Will the 25/16 ball fit my assembly's ? I purchased the set from U-Haul originally.
The 2-5/16 hitch ball part 4996 is for use with the 1" shank 8,000 lbs capacity Select A Ball kit part 4995 only.
THE 2" BALL IS AVAILABLE SEPERATE AND LOCKING PIN
This kit has (2) balls included in kit - 1-7/8" & 2". No locking pin.
How do you install and should your truck have something else
"A 2" receiver hitch and ball mount or a step bumper with towing capabilities and a 1" diameter ball hole are required for part 4995. Please note, a hitch system is only as strong as its lowest-rated component. Compare the maximum tow rating of the hitch, ball mount and hitch ball. Your hitch system rating is the lowest weight rating among those components. If you have further questions, please visit your local U-Haul hitch center for a free towing inspection."
