• The movers were excellent! They went out of their way to ensure the move was as smooth as possible on a bad weather day. • The two movers we hired were exceptional. We only had a partial move but they kept asking if there was anything else we needed moved. They had a difficult time getting a large piece furniture out of a bedroom with a narrow door and hall. They kept trying until they got it out, they weren't going to give up! On top of all that they were very personable and friendly. I would definitely use Better Movers again!

• Excellent service! The movers (2 guys) came in 5 min before scheduled time. Helped me out with un-assembling bed frames and tables and loaded my 1 bedroom apt in just 40min. In my new apartment there was emergency and lifts were locked, they stopped the charge-clock for that amount of time.

• This company will fool you, they call ahead and seem professional. Confirm times and everything... then 10 minutes before scheduled time they call and say they are running behind, maybe 2 hours. After much back and forth they will call when leaving first job. 2 hours later they are on their way...but they are in CONNECTICUT! NYC traffic on a Friday afternoon, that is not 2 hours behind. Thought the owner would make it right but he said “they aren’t magicians, they will get there when the car gets them there”. I tried to understand how no one seemed to know they would be coming from Connecticut.. then the owner, prior to hanging up on me, said he wasn’t a child and not to tell him how to run his business. Do not hire unless you live in Connecticut!

• The moving helpers called and said they had issues accepting the payment codes on there side and required cash. I didn't feel comfortable with that arrangement since I was already charged in advance. I informed the gentleman that I would be cancelling and acknowledge he understood. • The mover didn’t show up they told me their person got pulled over and arrested then they told me they were sending someone else 2 hours later. He didn’t show up either. So they guy lied to me all day and I rented a truck with no one to move my stuff. The most terrible experience I have ever had.

• I scheduled for a 9 am move and they did not show up. When I called the owner called the driver and the driver called me and said he thought it was for 11 and 9. The driver began to get loud and rude and I asked for the boss. When I called the boss he was also nasty and began to cuss because I explained that I'm 8 months pregnant and can't move anything and really need them to make it asap. He told me it wasn't his problem and they weren't coming and hung up on me. When I called back he would not answer and blocked my number. When we called from another number he had a girl answer and say they weren't a moving company..they wer very unprofessional and caused me time and a lot of money for their error
