• I highly recommed Pender Moving Services!! Sharon, who set up the appointment with me went out of her way to facilate my dealing with Uhaul. She really eased the anxiety of moving! Rob and Josh, the movers were top notch in their work and organizing the loading of the truck. Very pleasant gentlemen. You can't go wrong with this company. The prices are excellent also. • They kept me very informed, they had a hiccup at first stop and took them a few and she called several times to let me know the status. Also, the guys moved so quick. I had 3 flights of stairs they didn’t complain not once. They also went out their way to ensure everything was where I wanted it. Before they left they asked if there was anything else they needed to replace to a different location. They even moved my room mates TV upstairs. Hands down great company and guys!! And their affordable! Book them!!

• Communication was top notch - planning date and time was easy via text and call and the office followed up after the move to ask how it went. Deducted a star because move was supposed to be 9am and movers arrived around 9 45am, although they did call to say they’d be late, so again, communication was good. Actual move was efficient.

• I am being more generous than I should have. The movers were alright. They didn't introduce themselves (just asked me to verify who I was for unloading purposes). They also dropped multiple boxes TWICE. I asked them to stop over stacking the dolly and they said 'these things happen.' One of the boxes contained glass, which broke. Thankfully that was the only item damaged, however, the way the situation was handled afterwards was extremely unprofessional. The moving guys were very eager to get out of my place after I verified that nothing else was broken. Their boss ordered a replacement for me, which was nice, except the entire process was like pulling teeth. It was next to impossible to get her on the phone, so I was leaving voicemails. She preferred text, so the call would go to voicemail and then right after I'd get a text message with an excuse as to why she couldn't talk on the phone. Needless to say, I got the replacement but it was such a process. Will NOT be hiring them again.

• Pender Moving Services provided the absolute best moving services we have ever received, and we have moved at least 20 times. They loaded our UBox efficiently and securely and then loaded a 20-ft UHaul truck. I was amazed at how much furiture they were able to fit into the truck; they were true experts. In additional to their moving kills, they were personable and kind in providing guidance to my stepson and his friends who were assisting with moving items out of the house. Would absolutely hire them again!!!

Sharon confirmed with me several days prior and assisted me with changes to my reservation. The moving crew arrived on time and got right to work and followed my instruction. Sharon even showed up herself and helped with the move. When we arrived at the storage unit, she helped me coordinate a change of my storage unit to a more convenient location within the facility. • I did not have as good of an experience this time as in the past with Pender Moving. One of the movers complained of being exhausted and that my job was his 10th one for the week. The other mover took charge and handled heavier items but it was done so at a cost of time, which I was charged extra for via venmo at the conclusion of the move. This didn't seem professional or fair considering the cost and the situation. Overall, I would say the experience was average at best on the day of the move. The coordination and timeliness of arrival of the movers was good.

• I needed some help moving all the large furniture into a 3 story home. Communication was fast and timely, everything was explained well and on the day of the move they called to let me know what time they would be arriving. • I had to complete my move without Pender, despite having paid for loading and unloading effort. The Pender moving employee (Bernie) showed up (late), who was accompanied by a minor (circa 16-17 yr old) to help me move. This did not permit an expedient move within my time window to reach my unloading location. Then two other folks showed up, of which one gentleman was the a minor as well. Unfortunately, having minors of that age, help move furniture was a mistake. They dropped a furniture of my and broke a lock and scratched up a table top tray. After having spoken to the part-owner of the company, I was told that I will not be charged for the move. I do not know the status of the hold placed on my credit card in the amount of $124.95. Nevertheless, this was the worst move, I've ever been through in my entire life up to now.
