Absolute best decision I ever made after having to change movers at the last minute. My original mover was horrible with communication. This company was always in contact with me even when U-Haul had some cancellation error. They contacted me and asked me if I canceled so I was able to fix it quickly. The two guys that moved my stuff were beyond excellent and worth every dime. So I was able to add things I didn’t think I could take with me saving me a lot of money I was glad to tip them. I would definitely use them again, and I’ve already told my roommate about them in case she moves.

The moving helper was unresponsive after calling, texting and emailing to confirm details of the move. They were terrible communicators, and then let me know that they do not offer a COI despite advertising that they do on both the moving help website and their own personal website where I did my research before booking them. I highly do not recommend working with these movers - they do not care enough to communicate effectively and they falsely advertise.

These guys were great - showed up 2-3 hours late but super professional and I didn’t expect everything to be on time. They got everything unloaded super quickly, were friendly, personable and I would love to hire them again. Communication with the company ahead of time was difficult as they refuse to answer their calls and no one scheduled a delivery with me. They said they sent me an email the day before but moving help messed up my email for the confirmation so they probably messed up my email for them, too. I texted the day before and was finally able to get a delivery window, which of course, was off. It took them hours to respond to confirm, but otherwise happy with the service.

McKoy Movers was fantastic and I would definitely use them again. We had a full U-Haul that had to be moved into a 5th floor walk up. It was blistering hot with no elevator. Bryan McCoy and Carlos were terrific. They were fast, extremely polite and never complained. They kept me up-to-date on arrival time and any issues at the U-Haul facility. I have moved a lot and hired many different companies - Bryan and Carlos were the most respectful team I have ever worked with. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

BEST MOVER EVER DON'T USE ANYONE BUT MCKOY!!! Second time using Brian McKoy and he totally exceeded my expectations, AGAIN! I contacted the company and was expecting a 9am arrival time that was agreed upon prior. I also sent a message at 8AM to remind the movers of the 9AM start time, but on the move-in day, the movers were a no-show, I did not hear any responses from them or the management company after several repeated attempts to contact them (via phone, text, and email!), and they never arrived. I finally got a phone call at 11:30AM stating that they were 30 minutes away “running late”, which was 3 hours later than what I needed for my buildings allowed move-in. They ultimately never came as I ended up doing all the work myself. Thus, I would subsequently like to be refunded ASAP for the entirety of the order. It was a disaster and I am so extremely upset. I got in trouble for parking the U-Haul on the street for hours waiting for the movers to show up, my building is not refunding me my $500 move-in deposit because of the lateness.

Mckoy Movers is the definition of unprofessional. After calling them multiple times, texting them multiple times, and emailing them multiple times to confirm a time for delivering and unloading my uhaul Ubox, they finally replied to me (via email only) at 10PM at night to confirm a 10AM pickup. this morning @ 9:59AM as shown in the email attached below they cancelled on me without good reason. I had re-arranged my entire work schedule to accommodate them coming, and was hit with the email below 1 minute prior to when they were supposed to be here unloading. Highly unprofessional, and they do not deserve to be a moving company anymore (read all the other reviews). I am convinced the 5 star reviews they do have are all from the owner or employee of the company, as this company has failed on a multitude of levels. Poor communication, highly unprofessional, and not showing up for their job is what their company apparently entails.

While the movers were professional and efficient, when my things arrived and the ubox was opened everything spilled out on to the sidewalk. Im hesitant to place blame because I don't know if this was on the movers who packed it or if it happened in transit, but this experience was devastating.
