Before move day, Calvin was excellent about communication. Despite my own uncertainties about the time and even day that I would arrive at my new home, Calvin was accommodating and kept constant contact with me up until the moment he arrived. Five stars for professionalism and flexibility. Four stars because of age. Calvin and his teammate were both a number of years past their prime. That being said, they performed better than I expected from my first visual judgement. However, when it came to moving things upstairs I was at times I little concerned for their safety. Calvin did ask in advance if there would be stairs so I’m surprised that he didn’t come with a younger partner. On the other hand maybe a younger partner wasn’t available after my arrival time had changed, I don’t know. Luckily I did not have much going up stairs. But for people moving with stairs in the house I wouldn’t recommend.

Moved very slow. Took way too much time. Felt like it was intentional so I would have to pay them more. The guy charged me $170 for an extra hour and charged $40 for a $12.99 dollie you can get at harbor freight. I would not recommend! Claim to be Christian but certainly didn’t mind taking advantage Also, they damaged several doorways, moulding. After paying extra in cash $210 I then had to purchase products to repair the damage done

I highly recommend A-1 movers. They arrived on time and started working immediately organizing the boxes making sure the heavy boxes were on the bottom. They strategically packed the truck from bottom to top and secured the sections and items that were probably going to shift.
