• We were initially nervous about the movers as communication leading up to their help was spotty. When they arrived it was as if someone had been hired off the street to assist in our move. Specific instructions were not followed e.g. please wrap our expensive fridge before moving - leaving a sizeable scratch and multiple scuff marks. They also left without telling us when they went to get another Ubox leading us to believe they had abandoned the job. When our items arrived to be unloaded several were damaged e.g. scratches, scuffs, dents, etc. Overall our experience with this team and the money we paid was very disappointing and stressful. When we asked for compensation for the damages the owner went on and on about how big of a company Uhaul was and that we should tell them that the company ghosted us so that they would compensate us for all of the damages. DO NOT HIRE THESE MOVERS if you want your items to arrive in good condition. What a terrible experience.
