Darren JonesI showed up and there was no agent available for almost 30 min, had my pickup scheduled for 2pm and the agent was not in the office. When he returned he never showed me the current mileage on the vehicle or the gas level. He just handed me the keys and said he had other customers to help in the storage facility. When I returned the vehicle the same thing happened the doors were locked and the agent was inside, I asked him if we could do the walkthrough so I can confirm the gas level and mileage I returned the vehicle at ( I drove a total of 11 miles & filled the tank back up to 1/4 tank). He told me that I just need to leave the keys, I went back to talk to the agent Josh because I felt unsettled about this and asked him how I know what I will be charged and that I’d like to do the return so he can check the mileage and gas in front of me. He then was headed up to the storage area alone and told me that when he was done he would process the return and send me my receipt which I did not feel good about to begin with because of U-Haul scams I’ve heard about like this. When I got my invoice turns out josh stated I drove 27 miles which is impossible because I only drove 10 miles round trip to my apartment, this is a fact. He also stated that I returned the gas at 1/8 and charged me $60 for gas refill and gas fee. $30 charged for the additional 20 miles he tacked on. My total went from $50 which is what I planned on spending , to $120. I called the location and tried to dispute this & josh said nothing he can do about it and provided me with his area manager Cody phone number. I would like to dispute this charge as I was not given a final walk through. Can someone please reach out to me. Thank you

Michael HutneyWhile the cab of the truck was clean, it had a strong cigarette smell. The fuel cap was broken and hanging loose when I got to the truck. There was a tube in the gas tank and it obviously showed that someone tried to siphon the gas out of the truck. I told the attendant about it and they did not come outside to look with me and told me it was just broken. I took a picture and uploaded it.

Brandon GibsonAfter hours drop off needs to be clear. I was called and told to call back via voice-mail instead of just leaving the instructions there. They also could have called more than once as i was moving. I got locked into the facility and had to call emergency contact to be let out. Will likely not use this facility again, will use actual UHaul location in the future. The truck was perfect.

bruce wrightNo one was in the office at the time to pick up rental. When returning the truck they didn’t check it in until 2 days later. They have tried to overcharge me by $100.00. The district manager didn’t call back as requested and now tells me it will be at least another day before any refund will be issued. I am so angry and disappointed in this whole process I will never utilize this again. Everyone at the location has been rude and not knowledgeable enough to explain anything to me.

Diana SpartisHomeless people were everywhere. I left my car and didn't feel like it was safe. The interior of the truck was dirty when I picked it up. I was told I could keep the truck overnight and return it at 9am for no additional charge. I brought it back at 9am and was yelled at by the woman working there because I was apparently supposed to bring it back at 9:30am. Got charged an overnight fee. This location doesn't have their shit together.

Michelle WirtaThe location was very easy to pick up from! However, the truck itself was not clean. I was very disappointed in the quality of the loading area. Grease/oil on the floor made it dangerous to load. I will be calling customer service to complain.
Nia BravoThe wide angle mirror on the passenger side was broken. It did not bother me too much but would have been helpful on lane changes. Should probably be repaired. Otherwise, a very good experience and I got my work done.

THOMAS OWENSI was nickled and dimed and cheated on this rental. The guy tried to give me the rental with less gas than the contract indicated. then he "fixed" it reversed the contract but didn't complete it on his end "as uhual customer service told me" then I brought it back at the right level and I was charged $50 for "not brinigng it back at the level" along with a cleaning fee.... I did not leave the uhual trashed, in fact when I picked it up there was garage in it that I let be so the fact I am nickled and dimed for this is unacceptable. On top of that I check my bank today and the same location is trying to charge me $160 which Uhual has no record or receipt for. I have tried calling the location and they won't answer me. At this point they are stealing money from me. End of the day I was charged $400+ for something that should have costed $150 and at this point I am not even sure if they will stop charging me since there is a "unknown" $160 charge they can't account for and the location won't take my call. Sounds like a thief to me ALL of this happening 2 days before Thanksgiving now my bank account is overdrawn hundreds of dollars and I can't buy food for my family for Thanksgiving. I have been a long time uhual customer and have used it every week at certain points. I will not be coming back to this company.
Chris HarrelFirst It was so hard to return it because the Gate was closed and no one there to open it I wasted 30m from my time for someone else to open the gate for me and I didn’t get the Insurance on the truck because I do have a full coverage on my own insurance and the truck was so old and not safe to drive because need it en alignment and tire balance I really don’t expect this Charges!

Patrick mortonWhen someone makes a reservation for moving equipment, make sure that moving equipment is available. Don't give someone 1 broken furniture dolly when they reserved 2 and after the customer points out it's broken tell them you won't charge them for the damage of it. I spoke with Andrew today and as helpful and polite as he is, I should not have had to state the broken/missing dolly and furniture pads be removed from my bill before I left uhaul, the day after I dropped off the uhaul, and again today. This whole process was a nightmare. It made moving much more difficult than it should have been. I made a reservation for a service this company offers. I would have been charged if I didn't show up at all. It's odd the best anyone can seem to do at this point is try to remove charges for items I reserved but didn't receive. 100% will not recommend uhaul moving forward.

ERICS BODAMERHey what the heck are these fees associated with driving the vehicle. You don’t disclose the rental tax, the environmental fee, or the vehicle license fee. I paid 24 dollars to keep the gas tank above a quarter tank. Also $1 per mile how are none of these fees encompassed in the estimated price. There is no info about taxes online or in store. I paid for the insurance on this shit. WTF!! you’ll be hearing from me every day until you refund me give me my money back. Y’all weren’t even open on time. These hidden fees are not transparent your advertising is very misleading. Either you change the initial price on the van/truck or I am going to make a giant stink on your business. I’m going to leave so many negative reviews. Going to leave complaints at the BBB. What you’re doing is illegal advertising. Give me my money back

Anna RamosMy reservation was changed multiple times from your support team due to availability. I was called Friday night for a reservation on Sunday morning to change the reservation from a 10ft to 15ft truck due to availability not realizing there would be an issue. On Sunday, I arrived to pick up my truck at 7:45 am for 8 am pickup but the app said my reservation wasn't available for 24/7 service. After sitting on the phone for an hour, talking with 4 different people and being on hold while it was cold and raining, I finally got a hold of someone who could help. I had been transferred to multiple departments that weren't even open yet and no one knew how to finish scheduling my reservation, all while staring right at the truck I was supposed to get. I have never had such a bad experience before. I'm about to schedule another truck for this coming weekend since we were delayed an hour, I couldn't finish our move in one day as we had planned. So now I have to pay even more for another rental. So incredibly ridiculous and frustrating.

Andrew GardnerMy picked up was scheduled at a UHaul/Self Storage facility for 12:30 PM. Knowing I was would be pushed for time I called ahead to ensure they had received my online reservation and that the equipment would be there at the scheduled time. I was assured that it was. On arrival at 12:25 I found a notice; Back at 12:50. When I queried this I was told that; we only have 1 staff member and often times they have to leave the office to help storage clients. You should be aware of this risk when renting trucks from a storage facility. Otherwise, all was very good/clean/efficient.
John HewittThe only suggestion I have is to ensure there is sufficient parking for the U-Hauls upon return — reserved (and larger) parking spots specifically for the trucks would be nice, as the lot was pretty full when we came to return our U-Haul. But great experience overall!
